We often have the feeling that our trips and excursions are usually accompanied by bad weather, but fortunately some of our photos show a different picture. It's clear to see that the sun is shining for us too and that the sky is sometimes sparkling blue. Of course, weather like this is not a given at this time of year, as winter still clearly dominates in some parts of the country. On our last trip to Aizu, we also drove straight into winter, but at least on the day we left back home, we could feel that the seasons were clearly changing and that spring would not be too long in coming.

There was still a lot of snow in the mountains, but in the Aizu Plain there wasn't much to see. Instead, in some places we were presented with a wonderful view into the distance, and the landscape in front of us seemed so tidy and peaceful, full of expectation and anticipation of the milder time of year to come.

We still spotted snow on the mountain peaks in the distance, which contrasted beautifully with the blue sky. Together with the ever-present red, which can be found in so many places in Japan, we encountered a wonderful combination that invited us to dream and ponder. 


I like these sights and views, as they also help me to make my thoughts fly. 
I immediately stop my steps and pause. Letting my gaze wander into the distance, I enjoy the world that stretches out before me. I would certainly like to fly off myself and take a look at the area around me from above. But I haven't grown any wings yet, so in the end I stay on the ground and simply enjoy what I get to see here. 

I'm already somewhere else as I am writing these lines, but I know that one day I want to come back to this region and I surely will. And even if the sky should then show its gloomier side, I will be just as happy to be there as I was on this day. Because at the end of the day, the weather is not responsible for how I feel. I enjoy life, regardless of whether it's sunny, raining or snowing. I take it all....

DEUTSCH

Obwohl  wir oft das Gefühl haben, auf unseren Reisen und Ausflügen meist von schlechtem Wetter begleitet zu werden, zeigen einige unserer Fotos dann zum Glück doch ein anderes Bild. Ganz klar ist immer wieder zu sehen, dass auch uns die Sonne scheint und dass auch der Himmel für uns manchmal in einem herrlichen Blau strahlt. Klar ist so ein Wetter in dieser Zeit des Jahres noch nicht selbstverständlich, bestimmt doch der Winter in einigen Teilen des Landes noch ganz klar das Geschehen. Auch bei unserem letzten Ausflug nach Aizu sind wir noch einmal direkt in den Winter hineingefahren, aber zumindest am Tag unserer Abreise war auch hier zu spüren, dass die Jahreszeiten nun ganz klar im Wechsel begriffen sind und der Frühling nun nicht mehr all zu lang auf sich warten lassen wird.

In den Bergen lag noch eine ganze Menge Schnee aber in der Aizu-Ebene war davon meist nicht mehr viel zu sehen. Dafür präsentierte sich uns an einigen Stellen ein wunderbarer Blick in die Ferne, und die Landschaft vor uns schien so aufgeräumt und friedlich, voller Erwartung und Vorfreude auf die kommende mildere Zeit des Jahres.

Auf den Bergspitzen in der Ferne war noch Schnee auszumachen, welcher einen schönen Kontrasr bot zum Blau des Himmels. Zusammen mit dem immer wieder hervorstechenden Rot, welches man in Japan an so vielen Stellen entdecken kann, bot sich dem Auge eine wundervolle Kombination, die einlud zum Träumen und Sinnieren. 

Ich mag diese Anblicke und Ausblicke, schaffen sie es doch auch bei mir, meine Gedanken zum Fliegen zu bringen. Sofort stoppe ich meine Schritte und halte inne. Ich lasse meinen Blick in die Ferne schweifen, und genieße die Welt, die sich vor mir ausstrecken tut. Wahrscheinlich würde ich wohl selber gerne losfliegen und mir die Gegend um mich herum von ganz oben anschauen. Noch sind mir diesbezüglich keine Flügel gewachsen, so dass ich letztendlich dann doch auf dem Boden der Tatsachen stehen bleibe, und mich einfach über das freue, was ich hier zu sehen bekomme. 

Jetzt beim Schreiben dieser Zeilen bin ich schon wieder ganz woanders, aber ich weiß, dass ich eines Tages wieder in diese Region kommen will und kommen werde. Und auch wenn sich der Himmel dann von seiner trüberen Seite zeigen sollte, werde ich mich genau so freuen, dort zu sein wie an diesem Tage. Denn letztendlich ist das Wetter nicht verantwortlich dafür, wie ich mich fühle. Ich erfreue mich am Leben, ganz egal ob es sonnig ist oder regnet oder schneit. Ich nehme alles mit....
