Not that holding on to a growing investment is a bad thing, after all, look at how it blessed early Bitcoin adopters.  But dont forget, crypto is much more than a get-rich investment strategy.  The whole purpose of a currency is to create convenience by storing value in an easily transferable (aka liquid) form.  Crypto works essentially as cash, only you are able to store and transfer your value much more easily.  Traditional digital currency such as debit and credit cards initially served this purpose, but centralized authority eventually led to exorbitant fees and slow transaction times, seriously diminishing the convenience value.

### The truly exciting thing about most cryptos are their decentralized nature, 
meaning nobody has to approve your transactions; you are free to spend your money how you please.  You can select a currency with transaction times that fit your needs, and fees you consider acceptable.  With crypto, you can ensure your transactions are as secure, or transparent, as you like!  Smartphones essentially gave mankind telepathic communication, and now crypto is manifesting global, instantaneous exchange of value.  What an exciting time to be alive!

###  In order for a (crypto)currency to retain or attain value, it must be USED
Hodling your stash and praying to the moon god is all well and good, but if non-users don't see a point to your magical internet money, why would they adopt it?  If you are truly "invested" in cryptocurrency, and want to see widespread adoption, the best thing you can do is SPEND your crypto, and accept it for your goods and services.  Make it a part of your everyday life!  Show your friends and family the real VALUE of crypto by demonstrating how usable it is.  Of course thats not to say you shouldn't try to increase your wealth by trading and investing, but what is the point if you don't turn some of those invisible coins into real-world goods and services?

### One of the easiest ways to spend crypto 
is online shopping for your normal everyday items like gifts, tech, gadgets, clothes, games, vapes, and more.  An increasing number of online vendors are accepeting Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum as payment for online purchases, using services like Coinbase Commerce to incorporate crypto right into the normal checkout process...  Finally!  Paying with crypto has become as easy as using a traditional credit card!  It seems now the only thing holding crypto back from mass adoption is that people simply don't know just how easy it is to use...
