Thr Man From Akwa Ibom - Pen Drawing

In Nigeria, there are three popular ethnic groups. The igbo, Yoruba and Housa. However, there are many man other tribes in the country which are not that popular. And some, if you haven't been to that locality or community, you might never know they do exist. 
In Akwa ibom State, there are various tribes there like Anang, Ibibio, Oron and Efik but their attire a just same. 

Here, I drew an Akwa Ibom in his native traditional outfit. It is often a customized hat with sometimes their names on it. A material is being worn round the neck and a wrapper is tied on the waist. 

The piece was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used scribble technique to build my forms. Below are are my steps:
