*Child services in every modern country is a welcome initiative that helps and protects the children from negative impressions and effects. However it is a great opportunity and a great service to the children to maintain their security and protect them at large.. In some of the country like USA and UK the child service initiative work effectively and you can trust their services even at your limit points or your weak points. However because of modalization and growth some countries are here to get to that height where their child service initiative work effectively. It is one initiative that is supposed to have a greater stand in our country Nigeria today. However from Both bad governances and leadership is affecting the child service initiative so badly that it has no positive effects in our society. There are cases of children who get assaulted and raped, when child services are called upon to intervene, we get to realize that that become the end of the case, nothing good comes out of it. It is of great need in a society that child services will operate effectively in the safety as security of the children, this children in question are the hope of our future. When they grow with bad impression about the society they tend to not being a positive influence to the society rather becoming a bad influence to the society which is of great disadvantage to the society and individuals in it at large.*

*The child service initiative in my country is quite poor compared to other already established countries. I can remember a case then, in 2021 in the eastern region of Nigeria and incident happened where a little girl of 9 years  fall a victim of rape, the man who raped this little girl was caught, when they involved the child service we were expecting the case to be so extreme that they will take care of the situation punish the man or better still send him to prison for him to serve his punishment, Rather after so many weeks the man was released back to the society with freedom without any serious punishment given to him. That's the problem we have with our society and the child service initiative in my country. They claim to secure the welfare of the children but when he gets to an action, it becomes an opposite of their purpose.*

*Most of the time the welfare initiative or the child service initiative cross a boundary and end up destroying many homes in our society today. For example in a situation where family are not being able to provide for their children or a child, the child service tend to step in, instead of helping the mother and the father by educating or Creating Job Opportunity or better still creating a balance, they move to removing the child or separating the child from their parents, living their parents with a broken home. Some families are no more together because of the intervention of the child service initiative which is not favorable to the family themselves neither will it be favorable to the child, because this child is in a picture where he or she will lack Parenthood impact.*


*Talking about creating a balance between the intervention of the child service initiative and the problem the children facing the society, I think there are many ways they should create this balance. For example educating the parents will go a long way and placing a watch on them at the same time this will enable the parents to be the good father and mother to their children. Depending on the situation encouraging and counseling parents to help them solve their problem by themselves is another way of intervening in situation like this. Therefore the top priority of the child service initiative should be creating a balance between the Problem, the Solution and the Effects..*
