Good evening, all HIVE friends in this community, today I will take you to a watermelon farm where they are harvesting, even though it's not a big harvest. Why is that? Because usually the watermelon will be harvested when summer arrives in Indonesia and when Muslims in Indonesia are fasting during Ramadan, this fruit is very fresh to break the fast with quite a lot of water content. However, because it is the rainy season, this watermelon is rarely in demand. Even so, there are still watermelon farmers who plant and this fruit still has many fans.

Watermelon fruit or better known by the Latin name (Citrullus lanalus) is often found in Indonesia, especially this fruit becomes very popular when summer has arrived. The watermelons that we encounter a lot in Indonesia are red and yellow watermelons, then there are seeded and non-seeded watermelons. Usually watermelons with no seeds are slightly more expensive than watermelons with lots of seeds.

And this afternoon I will invite you to take a tour of the watermelon orchards which are being harvested by these farmers and will be sold to big sellers or often also called agents. actually my husband and I were taking a walk in the afternoon and I accidentally saw watermelon farmers harvesting their watermelons, the watermelon they harvested was a type of red watermelon without seeds. The purchase of this watermelon is calculated per kilogram at a price per kilogram of Rp. 5000. And my watermelon weighs 3.8 kilograms so I have to pay Rp. 15,000.

This watermelon field is very wide, about 3 hectares and all of it is planted by one type of fruit, namely watermelon. And the watermelons here are old and ready to be harvested so we won't find watermelons that are neither too red nor too red as a result of being injected. The color of this red watermelon is not too flashy. And after I paid for this watermelon, I couldn't wait to bring it home and enjoy it with my family.

Arriving at home, I split the watermelon into two parts, one part I put in the fridge to enjoy later and this watermelon will cause a cold sensation in the mouth and refreshing in the throat. However, because my throat is still inflamed so I still avoid cold food, let my other family members enjoy the cold watermelon later.

And if you look at the color, it turns out that what the farmer said was true, that the color of the fruit was not too flashy. I still found watermelon seeds around the flesh, but young watermelon seeds which were white and not too many in number, were still normal and I enjoyed them.
