Every week, @splinterlands posts a challenge for players to post about their battle, using a specific card or splinter.  This week’s challenge, is to use Lava Spider!

<center>**Ruleset**</center>

All monsters have the Knock Out ability!  Knock Out does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.

Also, no magic is allowed.

The mana is capped at 32.

So, here was the team I put together:

Since, Lava Spider is a Fire Monster, I began by choosing my Fire summoner.  I picked, Malric Inferno- a powerful Fire Summoner! Malric is at level 4 and adds an attack stat to each melee monster!!

 I was already feeling confident, but let’s get to my monster line-up!

In my tank position, I chose Goblin Mech!   This card is from the Neutral Splinter  and has some pretty awesome stats.  It is also a Melee monster, so it gets a buff from the summoner. It's a perfect tank!

Fineas Rage followed. I love this card!  His reach ability allows him to atttack from the second position! Fineas is also a Melee monster, so it gets a buff from the summoner.

Elven Cutthroat was chosen to be in the third position. This card has OK stats, but I like him for it’s speed!  This card is also a melee monster,  so it got a buff as well!

Serpentine Spy was chosen to be in the fourth position. This card has OK stats, but I like him for it’s speed!  This card is also a melee monster,  so he got a buff as well! This monster has the Opportunity ability! Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.

Fire Beetle was fifth.  It's low mana, made him the perfect choice! It's stats are not anything spectacular, but it's snipe ability is cool! Snipe Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.

Lava Spider, anchored the team. I chose this card mainly because of the challenge.  The stats kinda suck, but it also has Snipe!  Monsters with Snipe, Target enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.

My battle went 5 rounds!! I was very happy with the team I assembled, and was very pleased with my victory ✌🏽
