 This is my place of origin, where I have spent my formative years. It happens to be the heart of Ghana that many people aspire to call home – Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region. The allure of Kumasi lies in its unique combination of a relatively low cost of living compared to other regions and the warmth of its people. Unlike some other parts of Ghana, where the cost of living continues to rise, Kumasi maintains a more affordable standard of living, making it an attractive choice for many. Having been born and raised in Kumasi, I have developed a deep affection for the city, and its various neighborhoods hold a special place in my heart.       In this post, I share some of the snapshots I've captured around Kumasi. One of the standout features of Kumasi is the friendliness and humility of its people. The bustling markets and vibrant street scenes here are a testament to the city's lively spirit. Moreover, the cultural richness of the Ashanti people is something that permeates every aspect of life in Kumasi. Their unwavering commitment to cultural traditions defines their identity.
