Good day friends, hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend? I’m pleased to be bringing you various features about the updates on the Air-Clinic mobile app and the project as a whole. I believe this is one of the most valuable applications of blockchain tech. My opinion though, and that’s base on the premise that health is wealth. Over the last few decades we have seen the blockchain tech penetrate several components of our lives. We have seen it penetrate our financial institutions, social-medias and many others. 

Now Air-Clinic is heralding something entirely different and new like no one has seen before. This means it will also call for unusual challenge. However, those challenges are no more than the blockchain tech can handle. My last few posts have been about replacing the offline with online. And the traditional with the digital; this will be totally unreasonable of me to assert without admitting that there are categories of health services that cannot be administered through online means.

We still need the offline. So the question this article will seek to answer is, what will happen if a nation needs physical attention since Air-Clinic focuses on digital capacity relationships between medical experts and patients. Remember, I mentioned in my last post how Air-Clinic is establishing a network of medical experts across the globe and how this will foster speed in delivering health care services being rendered to people. The point here is how to;

>  … integrate the offline with the online in such a way that the online doesn’t get infected by the offline…

This is because it is the flaws of the offline that makes the need for an online and decentralized health care facility necessary. But now we have seen that the offline is still necessary as well. Air-Clinic is doing is to specify what features will be allowed to take place offline and which ones cannot. For example; record keeping, prescription, consulting services will be totally online based and that will not be compromised. Every feature that can take place online will not be allowed to take place offline. This is to ensure and guarantee patients and stakeholders that they are committed to their vision.

### How will the integration happen?

This is a good question asked and I would like you read this closely as it talks about one of the tiny line that defines the essence of Air-Clinic;

- INDEXING MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS- this will include doctors, Nurses, gynecologists, physiotherapists, dieticians, pharmacists, biochemists, medical laboratory scientists, etc.

- INDEXING HOSPITALS AND HEALTH INSTITUTIONS – there will no longer need for using the long queues at hospitals just to get an appointment or see a doctor for immediate attention. This feature of Air-Clinic will match you to the nearest hospital while ensuring that you get the best medical service you deserve. They don’t trade speed for efficiency.

- INDEXING MEDICAL LABORATORY SERVICES – Air-Clinic will also have medical laboratory scientists as partners to help you get the best of their services whenever you need them.

- INDEXING PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES – you will also get the best pharmaceutical services through Air-Clinic. And the issues of pharmacy misreading prescriptions will no longer be there because of the blockchain.

- INDEXING EMERGENCY SERVICES – the arrival time of ambulances in the centralized model could cost lives sometimes. Air-Clinic will attend to issues pertaining to the speed of responding to emergency cases.
