Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) ने चन्द्रयान 2 के लॉन्च से ठीक पहले, चन्द्रमा की उत्पत्ति के बारे में चार सिद्धान्त रखे है । यह चंद्रयान 2 का बहुप्रतीक्षित लॉन्च 15 जुलाई को है । यह मिशन चन्द्रमा के रहस्यों को जानने के लिए, भारत के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है । इससे चन्द्रमा के बारे में बहुत सी चीजे पता चलेंगी ।

इसरो ने tweet किया है कि इनमें से कौनसा सिद्धान्त सही है ? या कोई अन्य पाँचवा सिद्धान्त है जो किसी को भी नहीं मालूम है ? इसरो इन सवालों के जवाब दूंढ़ रहा है और यह चन्द्रमा के दक्षिण ध्रुवीय क्षेत्र में दुनिया का पहला मिशन है ।
## 1. Fission Theory
The Earth's rotational speed caused the Moon to split from the planet, while its gravitational pull anchored this fragment to become our natural satellite.
## 2. Giant Impact Hypothesis
A collision between the Earth and another celestial body caused a segment of the planet to break off and become the Moon.
## 3. Co-accretion Theory
A single cloud of gas created the Moon and the Earth while orbiting a black hole.
## 4. Capture Theory
The Moon was an untethered object before it was captured by the Earth's gravitational field during a fly by.

चंद्रयान -2 के मिशन में ऑर्बिटर, लैंडर और रोवर शामिल हैं। यह चन्द्रमा पर सितम्बर में लैंड होने से पहले 59 दिनों के लिए अंतरिक्ष में रहेगा । फिर रडार बाहर निकल जाएगा और रोवर नमूने ले लेगा ।
