de Foodies Bee Hive, un cordial saludo para todos, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una sencilla receta de Arroz con arvejas. En mi hogar no puede faltar el arroz y normalmente lo preparo blanco y lo acompaño con algun guiso, esta vez quise prepararlo diferente, aquí el paso a paso de mi receta.

___Para esta receta necesitaremos los siguientes ingredientes 👇___ 

* 350 gramos de arroz.

* 200 gramos de arvejas.

* 1 Pimentón.

* 1 cebolla.

* Sal y pimienta al gusto.

* Dos cucharadas de aceite.

Antes de poner a cocinar limpio y lavo bien las arvejas, le agrego abundante agua y la pongo a cocinar por 1 hora aproximadamente. Cuando ya estén blanda la pongo en un colador y le agrego agua fría, de esta manera le retiro las conchas que salieron durante la cocción, ya están listas para la receta.

Corto la cebolla y el pimentón en cubos medianos.

En una halla agrego las dos cucharadas de aceite, cuando está caliente le agrego la cebolla y dejo sofreír hasta que este transparente, luego agrego el pimentón y las arvejas, condimento con sal y pimienta, dejo cocinar por dos minutos.

Agrego el arroz e incorporo bien con las arvejas, agrego tres tazas y media de agua y dejo cocinar hasta que el arroz quede seco. A mi me gusta, que el arroz quede bien suelto, pero se hace a gusto si lo queremos cremoso, agregregamos más agua.
