 # Bitcoin Lightning Comes to Hive Hive Blockchain has been one of the decentralised worlds greatest success stories a chain over 4 years in existence with continued development and growth it is a chain that people shouldn't go past when looking to expand their crypto journey. Hive which is a fork from Steem has seen a [450%](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hive) increase since its inception and with more and more projects choosing to build on the Hive Blockchain it continues to out perform the majority of the web3 world through longevity. Hive has for sometime enabled cross chain transfers and can already accept Bitcoin, BNB, LTC and many more tokens.
