This weekend was the annual Rehmay Sandhu Foundation Easter community event where community members and volunteers come together to hosta BBQ in the park with fair floss, pop corn, sausage sizzle an easter egg hunt and FREE Easter presents. The event was attended by thousands and was the biggest event to date since the spicey cough graced our shores. 

The event not only brings thousands together but also provides much needed support to people in the local community as my community continues to remain one of the most disadvantaged communities in our state with ever increasing financial issues brought on by raising inflation and interest rates. 

The FREE event enables the community to come together and have a family fun filled day united the community and building strong core memories for families and children. It's great to see so many wonderful people attend and a big thank you to all the volunteers and organisers of the event.
