Georgies on Vista Bistro Review

Good morning Foodies I hope you're all having a wonderful day and enjoying your day. I am absolutely over the moon at current as we recently moved homes while as we had to sell out unit and rent while our home gets built. Across the road from our home is the Caroline Springs George Cross Football Club.

With a total of four soccer fields they also host a championship field which is Fifa grade and the best in the West, it is at the same level as our international team the Soccer Roos. The field alone cost $AUD5million.

There are a total of four soccer fields with another two allocated to the clubs for training and local games as well as a community use field. One that lil miss 3 and I will return to use.

# Georgies on Vista Bistro**

It's not the only thing that has brought us here though, we've come for the food! There's nothing I love more than community run kitchens. The club is also home to their own bistro employing locals and cooking up a storm in the kitchen!

I opted for the Salt and Pepper Calamari that came with a salad and chips which I washed it down with a Great Northern beer, I'm totally inlove with this beer since having it over the new years period. A smooth crisp taste that isn't too harsh on the pallet.

My wife opted for the Slow cooked pork belly with roast potatoes and washed it down with a Muscato a white wine. My mother inlaw was also with us last night and ordered the same except with cherry sauce where my wife had gravy.

Little Miss 3 opted for a side of fish and chips, the fish was a piece of battered flake which she states was a double thumbs up!

It's important to note we were also here last night as we stumbled across it on an evening walk so we decided to get dessert. Coffee and Sticky Date pudding which was fantastic!

The meals were really well priced 4 mains and 3 serves of alcohol only coming to $AUD99 typically a night out like this would cost $AUD150 to $AUD180 so it was way within the affordable price range.

The foot was cooked and prepared perfectly and not a single complaint could be had.

After dinner we got to watch the home team train on their field which was a great experience and the first time lil miss 3 had experienced a local soccer game.

We will definitely be back to try more of their menu!
