Selling lies, that's what good politicians do. Not all, I am amongst a movement that continues to fight daily. I am one of many that puts in the hard yards to right past wrongs and builds upon progress lifting everyone's quality of life. 

But it's a hard gig, especially when the lies people have been sold are better than the truth. It's not a unique thing it is common and happens across the globe. It is easy to see and happen. 

For most of us, we're too busy with our own lives trying to make ends meet, get to work, raise the family, pay the mortgage/bills that we don't have time to research or actively participate.

The world isn't built on time. It is a convoluted system filled with complexities that are beyond our control (so we think) which causes us to disconnect and focus on our immediate circle. Which is fine. 

Except this leaves a void, a void that we allow smooth talkers and false heros enter our lives with words and phrases that lift the spirits and cause change. This snake skin sales men at times can be good delivering us outcomes and taking us to places we had never envisaged. 

None other more so evident then what occurred in the US election, an entire QAnon movement arose which in its moments of failure as many watched and waited for the US military to storm in and arrest Biden for being some form of global child trafficking syndicate that Trump was some how ending. When this didn't manifest the QAnon movement didn't disappear, no. They rewrote the story and now Biden is Q. 

This vision of a world sounds deluded to many, it probably is. But it is no different to the beliefs of many, to the beliefs you hold or I hold or the many others around the globe. Although, we're probably not at that level of insanity (opinion) 

We all have views and opinions, we're not always right but it is about working together to build a world of OUR views together, as the old saying goes. Help enough people get what they want, you'll get what you want. 

Division has played a large role in keeping everyone at bay and causing problems today that no one ever saw manifesting in ways that a modern society shouldn't. 

2020 through us into a lockdown, but for me I decided I had a lot more time than usual and decided to explore the world via social media and alt blogs. It took me to places I had never seen or anticipated. 

As an Aussie talk about COVID you're instantly shredded, understandably we haven't had it here. Another important aspect is our economy, speak of our economy and you're quickly shredded with comments of "Economy? Your country exports minerals to enemies to build weapons for profit which they steal from your own Indigenous communities, Australia is the cause of war". 

A totally unexpected reflection of our own nation and place in geopolitics. 

Yet, just like every other country on the globe we are sold a lie. The same lie perpetrated on Independence or Federation days in every other country on the globe. 

"We have it good here, we're the greatest country on Earth". 

We tell our kids that they all can't get participation medals and that there can be only one winner, except for when we are being sold a lie, then everyone is a winner. Or are they?
