I saw the gifts they received all very beautiful and the best thing was that they made plans to meet them again as soon as in two weeks.

My Mother's 87th birthday was Friday.  Although we didn't plan a specific time, some of use went to stay for the day and others came in when they could.  It was not yet like the past where grandchildren and great grand children were there, but for the first time, like your family, all of my siblings were there at one time for a while and it was wonderful.

Then.... Sunday, the times different ones were going to be able to come around other obligations and the thought that a couple may not make it, we found once again in the afternoon, by surprise, the 4 of us were there with Mom too !  I really was a heart filling weekend.  I've missed this SO much.

My Mom and my sibs have all been vaccinated now.  Only a Sis-in-law that was there had not been.  

It was Fun !

P.S.... that is one awesome looking cake !  Bet it was delish !
