I think several adjustments were proposed and some even agreed upon in the comments. All it need perhaps is a summary edit and add a table with hourly rates proposed to the original proposal. I think its cool.

Yes, I am working on that. It’s just due to the nature of the work and the multiple NDAs, I’m very limited to what I can put in a public forum. I’m working on a way around that. I will say that 100+ are privy to the work being done and the details, so it’s not like it’s not being “overseen”. These are the elected community witnesses, so they aren’t just nobody’s either. 

I understand the community as a whole would like more transparency and I’m trying to find a way to do that that does not negatively affect the community’s relationship with exchanges. I go over this a bit in my last post.

That first paragraph seems to point to him taking your side in our war. I’m saying I didn’t know we had one. 

I understand some don’t support the proposal and that’s very fair. It does seem those who are being the loudest about it, don’t seem to even have the slightest concept of what is happening ... just like this post stating devs should make more (they are) and the other comments from this account stating that he isn’t looking at the total amount, just the daily.. so by that standard I am making way mire than devs.. which is the most illogical thing I’ve actually ever heard. 

And now I’m being threatened that if I don’t do what he says (even though that’s not even clear what he wants except for me to change my proposal to some vague thing that apparently will fix it all) then he will wreck havoc on the community.. so.. ummm.. what?

Perhaps since this individual has declared you is choice in this “war” you could educate him slightly or perhaps give him some guidance.

And what is this win win? As I have quite a lot of support from many different community members on the current set up. 

Then I have a few who think I should receive no payment and just do this work to help the community (while they shit post and get rewards)

Then I have a few who think I should do a longer term just to make it “look” better without actually changing anything.

Then I have some who wanted a hourly breakdown, which I did and added to the post. 

I have some who want to see more details of the work.. which I’m trying to accomplish but the nature of the work and the NDA’s make it tough. 

Then I have you who says no completed work should be included, which I think is strange. 

I have a hard time just “taking your advice” as your advice does not seem to be based on facts or logic. You keep saying the devs should be paid more, I agree and they are. You have to actually look at the full proposals and include the length of the job as well as the length of the pay window. Mine is only 60days pay window, theirs is a year. These details sort of matter when discussing the actual pay compared to one another. 

So yes, it seems everyone has very very different ideas of what I should do.. so I’m not sure what your simple “win win” suggestion is even. 

And all this focus on what someone dealing with high level work with major corporations is doing and criticizing any compensation... while you all ignore the “authors” making content and pulling out 30k +

Is their content more valued than the exchange listings? I’m a bit confused.. as I spent 14hrs yesterday working on multiple exchanges and it would have taken me maybe 30 minutes to make a post.. Maybe some individuals, like yourself, should look at the big picture and weigh some value in vs value out. Just a suggestion.
