I spent all day today working on this one. It's not a simple build, and it might take too long for it to make sense financially, but I'm excited about it. What can I do?  Got this Tremolo on my last trip back to USA. It's the sort of thing that is simply impossible to get down here, so I have to make every trip count. If you've never used a Wilkinson-Gotoh Trem, let me recommend them to you. A great upgrade for a Stratocaster, any day of the week.  At this point, I have no idea how much epoxy I've used. I lost count of the little tubes they sell down here. Yeah, you read that right. You can't get a tub of the stuff (totalboat) or anything of the sort down here, it simply does not exist, but I'm not complaining, I just have to figure it out.  I have some crushed turquoise also in there for good measure. HA! If I'm going crazy, gotta go all the way, don't you think? That being said, shaping this top is not easy. There are parts of the walnut that are super soft, and need hardening, which I'm doing by flooding those parts with thin CA glue, but shaping and scraping has to be done gently afterwards.  At any rate, from experience, I can't speed up the process in any way. Tomorrow, some of the CA glue would have shrank, and the battle will continue. Off to remove the sawdust from my hair.. MenO

That's a beautiful piece of timber and will look incredible when it's finished and coated. We have the same problem here with epoxy, can only get little tubes! first world problems eh? Anyway. Hope you're well and things are looking up for you :-)
