<div class=text-justify> Arguments are bound to happen where there are people, whether they love themselves so much or not at all. It is one of the things that teaches people about people better, creates stronger bonds and reveals some things unknown beforehand. But it is also scary if it's mishandled. I've seen a small argument go wild and having people hurt beyond what the eyes can see, and I've also seen a big argument go calm like it never happened. In all scenarios, what the individuals involved decides wisely or foolishly determines how it ends and it requires wisdom.  It's one thing to have a conversation, it's another to make sure it is as peaceful as possible to avoid growing it into an argument. Because from what I've noticed, a lot of arguments are birthed from wrong words in a conversation or lack of understanding from one or both parties involved. I can't count the number of times I've had an argument with people, especially with close friends. I'm hardly the kind to continue arguing as I'm more of a quiet person than being a talkative. Because of this trait of mine, only a few can hold an argument with me because I give up easily. Some will see it as a weakness but I've come to see it as a better route than going head on with an argument and hurt myself or the other person in the end. I tend to say useless but hurtful words when I get angry during an argument, I learnt that early and began to build bridges, instead of walls. For an argument I find myself in as one for the parties involved, if I see my opponent isn't giving up anytime soon, I go mute at a point giving them the upper hand that they've won. The argument turns out to be pointless whenever I do that, they just feel like they shouldn't have started it at all.  In an argument I witness especially among my family or friends, I try not to say things that would make it worse than it already is, like siding with one of the parties and hurting the other. That never ends well, instead I try to calm them both by making fun of some things they say with style. While it may not work all the time, it has worked for me a lot of the times I've had to resolve arguments. Another thing I do especially when the argument is just about to heat up, I remind the parties the reason the argument started and why it shouldn't go past the level they were at. Some of them will listen as most of my friends do see me as someone who doesn't like trouble or quarrel, and because of that, arguments don't last much. But in a case where the argument is very much heated that they are even fighting, I give them chance. I let stronger people take over. I mean, I'm not that strong to start holding fights, I'll be the one getting hurt or pushed aside if I try it so I don't even bother. If you go and act strong to settle a fight and they knack you with bottle, it will be a warning against next time π€£π€£ I have this young guy, a pastor's son oo, who would twist scripture and turn it upside down and still argue when it's clear the Bible is right. He acts as if he knows it all and when I see him around starting an argument, I just step back. The day he was acting all dirty with "The songs of Solomon," I knew this one is in the world and nothing he's trying to prove would make meaning. Lol People are just so mean with argument and it's better to just step back for them.
