I Made My First Investment Without Any Investment Plan

If only I could go back in time to relive those moments with the knowledge I have now, I'd be richer by now. I made my first investment in 2018, the year I first heard of Bitcoin but I was convinced to invest in Ethereum which I oblige immediately as I saw that the amount was way small than the amount of Bitcoin.

The only I knew then was this... **If you invest now, you'll earn much more when the coin price goes up,** says my investor manager back then lol.

*What will take the coin price up?
How much more will I really earn?
How small or big is my investment in the coin?
How long really should I wait to start gaining my profit from the investment?
Is there any other thing I need to know about the coin in investing on?
Is it possible that I'll lose my investment input?*

I didn't ask any of these questions and I didn't care since I saw many others doing it, I just joined just for the simple reason of not missing out. I mean, even a very good friend of mine who I knew to be good with online stuffs back then was involved so I trusted the whole thing without asking questions.

Truth be told, it all went well until the next year when the coin went up but I was told my percent in it was too tiny so I shouldn't think about earning profits anytime soon.... *Why didn't you tell me long before now?* Well, I didn't ask and it skipped their mind I guess 🥲

The very first coin I got with my money was Ethereum and I bought it without any knowledge of it aside it being a Cryptocurrency that will rise in price in the future. Please don't ask how much because even I am embarrassed about it now that I think about it 😂 Looking at the present price of Ethereum, I definitely would have made it big by now if only I had all the knowledge I needed to invest well in it.

From my background of investment, I'm surprised to see myself this better at investment now and that is all thanks to Hive for the daily lessons and providing the means for me to keep growing my portfolio especially with the Hive engine tokens.

Well if you're curious about how my wrong investment went, I had to swap/convert it to Tron tokens later on and I sold them off for almost nothing... Like I didn't get my money up to half back and that is all thanks to my innocency in what crypto Investment is all about.

I know better now and I've been applying more carefulness in investing outside the blockchain because even after my first investment, I was scammed in one more investment I did. Ever since then, finding out about Hive made me give a lot of such investment up.

Focusing on my Hive investments for a year and some months now have been paying off for me and more to come so I'm grateful for finding this platform. I may not have joined the crypto Investment well but it's all falling into place again for me, so I want to believe.

My first investment was a sham! Lost over 300k and it still hurts when I think about it. But I'm recovering. I learned a really hard lesson😂

Don't worry I'm not going to ask how much you bought the Ethereum back for.😂 It's already evident that it wasn't substantial at all.
I don't think there's anyone I know that doesn't have a bad investment story first. But at least you've learnt and grown since then.

How much was the Ethereum then in value for you? You didn't include that na 😂😂😂

My first investment was also holding Ethereum. Like, it was still low then and had to keep some. Well, I sold it for chicken and chips then 😂😂😂 didn't realize it would have big value after then.

I wish I knew how much Ethereum you bought, or at least how to find out😂

Well, my first online investment was a mess. It was one Ponzi scheme that I knew almost nothing about until all my investments were gone. As usual, they promised a very good ROI. A friend just recommended and a clueless me also bought into that stupid idea 

It was after everything had ti lo that I relooked into the scheme and even the ROI was now laughable 😂
