**Music!!!** In what better way can I express my love for music aside singing a song to show how I feel about it.

***But I'm not singing!!! 🤭 Maybe some other time.*** 

So I'll be writing about music instead. I saw that two questions from the options given gave me better opportunity to talk more about music from my own view.

I remember a time I was almost convinced that ***"Music is everything"*** and you won't blame me, at that time, every song I listened to had answers to my questions. Music became my solace and I always felt better just listening to music.

I'm sure with that reason, I can proceed to share my favorite song and I also decided to share my music experience, can't miss out on this opportunity... ***This is me feeling Grateful to world of music.***

##### **The Music That Moves Me And How I Feel About It**

Honestly, it's always hard for me to pick out a song and declare it as my favorite because I've always had this thought ***"Different notes, different sounds, different feelings, same music"*** so if I'm to have a favorite song, I'll have a favorite from every genre of music like the blues songs, rock and roll songs, country songs, gospel songs and others.

But for the purpose of this contest, I decided to share a favorite I had once told a friend of mine when she asked about my favorite music because I found out I could explain the song way better than the other songs I've listened to.

###### **And that favorite music is "Scars to your beautiful by Alessia Cara"**

This music was released in 2016 by Canadian singer and songwriter Alessia Cara. A music I fall in love with every time I listen to it no matter how often I do. At first, it wasn't about what the song meant... *It was my love for music and its melodies.*

But after a continuous connection with the music, I got involved with its lyrics and decided to check the music out online to find out more... *That's a step I make when the artist make a great impact in my heart with music.*

What moved me in this music was her lyrics... Alessia made it so clear to me that ***"We're all beautiful no matter how ugly the world may see us"***

There's a part in her music that says:

> **"You're beautiful just the way you are and you don't have to change a thing, the world could change it's heart"**

I'm always smiling when I get to this part of the song because it says little but with amazing meaning. I always feel happy and lively whenever I listen to this song and for some reasons I'm still yet to understand... I don't get tired of listening to it since years ago I found out about it.

##### **My Personal Music And Singing Experiences**

I've had so many experiences with music and I've grown to love singing a lot, this is because I grew up in a family that loves music and I also belong to a singing group. The picture you see there is the group I'm in at one singing competition we won at.

It was an amazing day for me because I didn't just get to sing a song I love, I also got to sing to an audience that was willing to listen and cheer me up to do better.

At home, listening to music is an everyday experience for me. But something I'm still trying hard to get use to is voice training... I feel that I'm not using my voice to it's potential so making sure I train my voice to sing better is an experience I would love to share soon.

For now, my main music experience is getting acquainted with beautiful songs I come across... I could even make do with what you'd suggest to me through this post because I feel like I also learn a lot through music.

Music makes my life more interesting, which makes me sometimes imagine what life would be without music *"Life with no melodies and vibes?"* Super boring and depressing I believe.
