It is so much nicer on the rock as there you just have nature and the sea. That is what is so sad.</p> <p>Can you imagine going through life, walking past a book or newspaper and not being able to read what it says. The reason is that everyone reads on the internet or on the television.</p> <p>When the electricity goes off, as it does here quite often you have nothing to do if you do not have any reading material.</p> <p>I believe that there are even some libraries closing down they do not have the same amount of people who use them and for that reason they just move the books to other libraries in bigger towns.</p> <p>https://imgoat.com/uploads/4229abfcfa/90575.jpg</p> <p><a href="https://imgoat.com/uploads/4229abfcfa/90575.jpg">image source</a></p> <p>I remember as a child we even had a bus that was a library that came once a week and we were all waiting for it as it meant we could get new reading material.</p> <p>Those buses were like ice cream cars, we just could not resist it at all.</p> <p>I wonder how many people remember that little bell that rang and we all started jumping around waiting for it to come as we all got money for ice cream once a week.</p> <p>https://imgoat.com/uploads/4229abfcfa/90576.jpg</p> <p><a href="https://imgoat.com/uploads/4229abfcfa/90576.jpg">image source</a></p> <p>What I am actually realising is that life has really changed a lot with technology, but as children we could not get to a shop to buy ice cream and had to wait our turn.</p> <p>I am sure that there are still children who have to stay at home, and if they want something, their parents have to jump in the car and go and buy it at a shop.</p> <p>I think if we still had libraries moving around and reaching houses, especially for those schools that do not have libraries, it would also make children read more.
