I am really preparing for the MCGI Mass Indoctrination which is commencing tomorrow. From The first time I joined the zoom meeting to listen to the doctrines from Bro Eli Soriano, I have found solace in listening to them. This is because these doctrines are good for edification to a heaven bound believer. So, hearing from Bro Daniel that the indoctrination is returning January 1, I felt delighted about it.

**Why I Desire The Do Doctrines**
These days, we are surrounded with many sugar-coated christian doctrines that only soothe our emotional and fleshly passions and care little about our spiritual growth. We engage in various activities that spice our services but neglect basic disciplines that could have shaped our christian characters.
But thanks to Bro Eli Soriano who opened our eyes to the needful principles that we have to follow if we really want to grow spiritually.

**Some Of The Doctrines**
Some of the doctrines we have learnt from the indoctrination are
**_Praying the right way_**
_Matthew 6:7 (KJV)  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking._
We were corrected by Bro Eli Soriano that we should not follow the practice of vain repetitions in prayers. That led us to the awareness that praying the rosary, as practiced by some religious sect, is not scriptural.

We also learned that we should practice discipline during prayers. The MCGI pray kneeling down and facing the east. We too should adopt any form of discipline that helps us to concentrate during prayers.

**_The Church Of God_** This subject opened my understanding to the game played by most people in recent times of establishing churches for business. Most of the churches flooding the society are not actually subscribed to God who is the One that initiated the institution called church. Pride and material gains push some people into becoming pastors and opening churches.

**_Good Works_** 
_Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV)  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith._
Bro Eli Soriano made us fully understand that the distinguishing factor of our identity as christians is doing good works. He pointed to us that we are to do good to all men and most especially our fellow christians.

**_Church Gatherings_** 
_Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching._
Most of us have been deceived that there is no more need for going to church gatherings. We have been told that we could receive salvation without joining church. Thank God for the truth shown to us by Bro Eli Soriano. He made us understand that gathering together in church is a doctrine from God which we must obey.

Now, here comes another season of learning the true doctrines of Jesus Christ. I will be available as God gives me grace. I invite everyone to join too. January 1, 2024 will be the beginning. Thank you for preparing to join and listen. God bless us all.
