Scientists officially announced three landing sites on the red planet for further research

<p>Scientists selected three locations on the red planet for further research. This is going to be happened during Nasa’s upcoming Mars 2020 mission. These three selected locations include Jezero crater, Northeast Syrtis and Columbia Hills discovered by NASA’s Spirit rover.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The rover will be launched in July 2020 from space launch complex 41 located at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. It will do numerous tasks on the red planet like geological evaluation of the sites that are recommended by scientists, checking the suitability of the environment, tracing the sign of primitive Martian life, and determining the natural resources and risk for future human discoverer.</p>

Fascinating Thanks @mgibson.

Hopefully it will not be a waste of funds and there will be benefit to humanity as opposed to a few.  I still think we should investigate this planet depths more before trucking off into space.
