What does talent mean to you ?

### Today I am going to be speaking on what I titled TALENTs

One Who is talented is a great personality. One thing I want to let you know is that every body is talented the only problem with the individuals, some discovers while some did not those that discovers are lucky while some never did God is kind He freely distributed this gift. And if you never discover yours God is not to blame but yourself.

You may not also blame yourself but your parents or your wards but unfortunately we have many very miopic and illiterate parents that is why there is call for education in our system, this is what was supposed to be the heart beat of our government of this great nation Nigeria.

I vividly remembered our on time former governor of the defunct Bendel State late Professor Ambrose Alli, he championed free education even up to University at Ekpoma (1978/79).

Teachers colleges where built whereby both the young and the old went to school even market women benefited, it was a Venture to eradicate illiteracy and enhance education and improve our talents but unfortunately he was imprisoned by Buhari administration government.

If not for Alli Ekpoma University wouldn't have been there. God received his soul because he laid down his life for the masses.

Coming to my point on talent, talent are built up in a way of development.

Whatever be your talent is, it is given to you to excel it therefore means anyone who exercises his own properly will always work with fulfilment.

Have it in mind that talent and gift are different from one another. The talented people are achievers

Even the bible say *Telent makes way for you*
If you work on your talent, you will never be broke. You do not need to be very educated. All you need is to focus on your talent and it will yield result for you.

I michaelcj is a talented dance artist. I have been developing my dance talent and i still dance today. This talent has differentiated me from others people who say they dance because i am good at it and also i am educated..

The problem of talented people is finance. The country financial state does not allow talented people to showcase their pontentials and also earn from it. This will make me want to talk about Skill.

Skill and talent are not the same.
We need to identify a skill which will be used to backup/support our talent

You are very right about the nature of the country playing an important role in talent....especially parents.. They don't believe in their children talent simply because probably in their time they also had a talent and they give up on it and now they would let their children try....

I personally loved the way you said: "...talent are built up in a way of development." Here are 4 important criteria  to consider while finding your talents (by Tai Lopez):

1) What you grew up around?
2) What have you been doing over the last 10 years?
3) Strangers feedback - what do strangers think about you? (Not your friends and family, because they might be biased in most cases).
4) What can you talk about effortlessly?
