Every now and then, I force my mind to try and develop or even just comprehend certain complex concepts or ideas that i am simply not mentally equipped to contemplate very well, these practices provide a perfect demonstration of the fact that there are many levels to intelligence as well as various unique facets which make up its different types.

As I navigate through life I've found the notion of intelligence to be more and more undefinable. Have you ever been blown away by what some people can say or do, thinking you're completely retarded and out of their league, only to then find they struggle with concepts or tasks that you find blatantly obvious or simple to understand? This is what led me to think more and more about balance as a universal element that exists within everything, and that no matter how smart someone is observed to be, there must be something that they struggle with on the same level to balance it out. 

I feel like this rule applies to everything in life, just like eating sugar has its highs and its lows, a peak which is followed by a crash Even when it comes to extreme success, for example famous and talented football players or UFC champions, the reward and feeling of being at the top comes with the repercussion of eventual physical issues and even brain damage. When this probably already extensively studied and argued idea entered through the confounds of my eccentric...sometimes ignorant mind, the urge to discover whether this give and take formula is the case with all aspects of existence became a fun idea to explore.

 I've found that any amount of success or pleasure that can be experienced comes at a cost which is often ridden with hidden consequences that are difficult to pinpoint and cause you to pay an equivalent or higher price than you realize at that current point. One area where it is observably obvious is in the feeling caused by over-eating where over-consumption and the irresistible allure of certain food (especially sugar) can be seen to cause obvious negative consequences where giving into one's gustative dopaminergic urges can be clearly observed and analysed to the point where the 'give’ and the 'take' is all too glaringly obvious, drugs would be an obvious example as well.

This has just been something i have been thinking about lately and thought it would be fun to write about. I would love to hear what people think about this and would genuinely appreciate a comment and/or some feedback In order to further develop my (and maybe your) knowledge on these ideas.
