Loving art again

<p>When I was a young child, I enjoyed drawing with any kind of art materials I could get my hands on.  Pencils, crayons, markers, an old chalk board hung on the wall in our basement.  I drew my world every time I got the chance.  </p>
<p>At some point I listened to another person who said that my drawings weren't good enough.  I stopped drawing.  Now I'm older and I realize how silly it is to let the opinions of others determine what you will do with your life.  That's why I'm starting to draw again.  I know I'm not one of the world's greatest artists and that's OK.  I don't have to be.  I realize now that enjoying the experience of art is way more important that impressing others with it.  Now I'm always looking for <a href="http://funthingstodraw.com/" rel="noopener">fun things to draw</a>, and I can find them in the simplest of places and objects.</p>
