Cool Battle - Dealing with the rules of battle! [PT/EN]

Em nossas batalhas, a primeira coisa que vai induzir nossas escolhas é a regra de batalha. É baseado nelas que vamos escolher monstros e summoners que possam trazer benefícios ou que sejam eficientes na hora do duelo. Algumas regras são realmente difíceis de lidar e outras mudam completamente a dinâmica do jogo.

Na batalha de hoje, vou lidar com 3 regras que afetam muito a jogabilidade e  mostrar como tive um bom desempenho diante das escolhas, derrotando meu adversário facilmente ainda no segundo round. Vamos conferir!

Essa foi uma batalha que realizei bem no começo da última temporada e é do formato Wild na Liga Gold. Apenas os elementos Dragão e Fogo estavam disponíveis em uma quantidade de mana mediana, que daria pra escalar uma equipe com alguns monstros de mana alta, mas eu não poderia me dar ao luxo de colocar muitos monstros caros.

Essa foi uma batalha que cada escolha deveria ser muito bem calculada, pois cada regra de batalha iria influenciar muito nisso. É um tipo de batalha que se fizer uma escolha errada, as coisas não se sai bem.

Para regra de batalha ***Reverse Speed***, minha principal escolha são monstros que normalmente seriam lentos em condições normais. Observe que nenhum monstro que eu escolhi tem mais do que 2 de velocidade. Esse é um detalhe muito importante, talvez o mais importante, pois ainda tenho que lidar com ***Blast*** e ***Opportunity*** das outras regras, e atacar primeiro será uma vantagem muito eficiente.

***Explosive Weaponry*** é uma regra traiçoeira, pois ela vai ser ótima quando você ataca mas muito temida ao ser atacado. Lidar com essa regra é um dilema entre se defender e atacar. Por isso é tão importante focar o objetivo em ser mais rápido que o adversário, pois assim conseguimos minar um pouco de sua força.

Equal opportunity vai dar a todos os monstros a capacidade de atacar o monstro mais fraco em campo e para os monstros de ataque melee atacar da linha de trás. Diante dessa possibilidade, monstros com ataque melee ganham mais uma utilidade.

Diante dessas regras, a minha intenção é encontrar monstros que possam atacar primeiro e o monstro Grum é uma arma muito poderosa, seja por sua velocidade, poder de fogo e pela habilidade ***Bloodlust***.

Nessa batalha eu não tinha muita mana disponível, mas ter um gasto a mais comum monstro tão caro quanto Grum vale cada mana. Ele pode derrotar monstros com muita facilidade diante de seu ataque alto e ganhar ainda mais poder de fogo ao fazer isso.


Cada monstros escolhido tinha seu papel em campo, até mesmo os dois ultimos monstros de custo zero que são muito fracos. Eles iriam atrair ataques e fazer com que o adversário desperdiçasse ataques.

Com a morte desses monstros mais fracos e até mesmo qualquer outro, eu tinha dois monstros que se beneficiariam por isso através da habilidade ***Scavenger*** .

Por último um tank ( que na verdade é o primeiro, se é que você entendeu o que eu quis dizer), que poderia ser eficiente também ali no front. Suas habilidades somados ao poder de fogo e habilidades, fazem desse monstro quase uma opção perfeita para compor essa posição!

Por fim, essa batalha não durou sequer 2 rounds completos. Foi uma batalha muito rápida devido a todos os fatores envolvidos, mas também existe crédito na escolha da equipe que fiz.

In our battles, the first thing that will prompt our choices is the battle rule. It is based on them that we will choose monsters and summoners that can bring benefits or that are efficient at the time of the duel. Some rules are really difficult to deal with and others completely change the dynamics of the game.

In today's battle, I'm going to deal with 3 rules that affect the gameplay a lot and show how I performed well against the choices, easily defeating my opponent in the second round. Let's check!

This was a battle I did well at the beginning of last season and it's a Wild format in the Gold League. Only the Dragon and Fire elements were available at an average amount of mana, which would be enough to build a team with a few high mana monsters, but I couldn't afford to put too many expensive monsters.

This was a battle that each choice should be very well calculated, as each battle rule would influence it a lot. It's the kind of battle that if you make the wrong choice, things don't go well.

For ***Reverse Speed*** battle rule, my main choice are monsters that would normally be slow under normal conditions. Note that none of the monsters I've chosen have more than 2 speed. This is a very important detail, perhaps the most important one, as I still have to deal with ***Blast*** and ***Opportunity*** from the other rules, and attacking first will be a very efficient advantage.

***Explosive Weaponry*** is a tricky rule, as it will be great when you attack but very feared when attacked. Dealing with this rule is a dilemma between defending and attacking. That's why it's so important to focus on being faster than the opponent, because that way we can undermine some of his strength.

Equal opportunity will give all monsters the ability to attack the weakest monster on the field and for melee attack monsters to attack from the back row. Faced with this possibility, monsters with melee attack gain another utility.

Given these rules, my intention is to find monsters that can attack first and the Grum monster is a very powerful weapon, either because of its speed, firepower and the ***Bloodlust*** skill.

In this battle I didn't have a lot of mana available, but having to spend the most common monster as expensive as Grum is worth every mana. He can defeat monsters very easily in the face of his high attack and gain even more firepower by doing so.


Each chosen monster had its role on the field, even the last two zero-cost monsters that are very weak. They would draw attacks and cause the opponent to waste attacks.

With the death of these weaker monsters and indeed any others, I had two monsters that would benefit from it through the ***Scavenger*** skill.

Finally, a tank (which is actually the first, if you know what I mean), which could also be efficient on the front. Its abilities, added to its firepower and abilities, make this monster almost a perfect option to compose this position!

Ultimately, this battle didn't last even 2 full rounds. It was a very quick battle due to all the factors involved, but credit also goes to the team choice I made.
