December is a magical month, or at least it was when I was just studying and enjoying the holidays and year-end festivities. Now, only the festivities remain, as the holidays are scheduled for another time of the year. In reality, this time that should be for rest will be even busier; here at my workplace, it's one of the busiest times. Still, it's a good month since I spend more time with my son.

But since this won't be a month of rest, I could talk about mid-year vacations, which is when I usually take some time to relax. Typically, I allocate my vacations to meet various needs. The first one is rest, where I spend at least 3 days doing absolutely nothing, just watching silly movies and eating junk food. And yes, this is a sacred ritual for me; it's where I recharge a bit from the energy spent throughout the year.

Of course, I always travel. My preferred destination is usually beaches, as my state is not bathed by the sea, and I miss the breeze, warm sun, and that wonderful atmosphere. This is also a good time to enjoy family, experience happy moments, and imprint in memory the feeling of making the most of the time given to me. So, trips have great value for me for everything they add at once. Additionally, breaking from routine and exploring new places plays a crucial role in my mental health, and I always return home happier.

But vacations are not just for leisure; I set aside at least a third of my days to catch up on my projects. With the daily hustle and bustle of work, I can't always do what I want with mastery, so this extra time gives me the opportunity to organize things and make my projects progress more quickly and with more care. I also allocate this time to organize some household things or tackle something that has been pending. This is also crucial because if I do extra tasks when I'm not on vacation, it seems like I get even more tired.

Still within my vacation planning, I quickly visit some relatives and friends. Sometimes, we become distant from people who are important to us, and that's the fault of routine and busyness, so there are no excuses when I'm on vacation and go to make important visits.

Organizing myself for vacations is efficient, and since I started doing it, my time is well-utilized, and I can accomplish much more. I really love vacations because time is precious and it's something I miss throughout the year, so I need to use it well when it comes. The last time I took a vacation, I was so immersed that I ended up forgetting my return date; I ended up missing a day of work, and of course, my boss scolded me, but it was a funny incident to share on threads, haha.

Dezembro é um mês mágico, ou pelo menos era quando eu apenas estudava e usufruía das férias e das festas de final de ano. Agora, só restam as festas, pois as férias ficam para outro período do ano. Na verdade, essa época que deveria ser de descanso será de ainda mais trabalho; aqui no meu serviço, é uma das épocas de grande agitação. Mesmo assim, esse é um bom mês, já que passo mais tempo com meu filho.

Mas já que este não será um mês de descanso, eu poderia falar das férias de meio do ano, que é a época em que costumo tirar um período para curtir. Normalmente, eu separo as minhas férias para atender às necessidades. A primeira delas é o descanso, onde eu fico pelo menos 3 dias fazendo absolutamente nada, apenas vendo filmes idiotas e comendo porcarias. E sim, esse é um ritual sagrado para mim; é onde recupero um pouco das minhas energias gastas ao longo do ano.

Claro, eu sempre viajo. Minha preferência de destino normalmente são as praias, já que aqui no meu estado não é banhado pelo mar, eu sinto falta da brisa, do sol quente e de toda aquela atmosfera maravilhosa. Esse é um bom momento também para curtir a família, passar por momentos felizes e registrar na memória essa sensação de estar aproveitando bem o tempo que me foi dado. Então, as viagens para mim têm um valor muito grande por tudo que agregam ao mesmo tempo. Além disso, sair um pouco da rotina e conhecer lugares novos tem um papel fundamental na minha saúde mental, e sempre fico mais feliz quando volto para casa.

Mas as férias não são apenas lazer, eu separo pelo menos um terço dos meus dias para colocar meus projetos em dia. Com a correria do cotidiano de trabalho, nem sempre consigo fazer o que queria com maestria, então esse tempo extra me dá a oportunidade de colocar as coisas em ordem e fazer meus projetos progredirem com mais rapidez e capricho. Esse tempo eu também separo para organizar algumas coisas da casa ou fazer algo que estava pendente. Isso também é muito importante, pois se eu faço coisas a mais quando não estou de férias, parece que fico ainda mais cansado.

E ainda dentro do meu planejamento de férias, eu vou visitar alguns parentes e amigos rapidamente. Às vezes, ficamos afastados de pessoas que são importantes para a gente, e isso é culpa da rotina e da agitação, então não existem desculpas quando estou de férias e vou fazer visitas importantes.

Me organizar para as férias é eficiente e, depois que comecei a fazer isso, meu tempo rende, e consigo fazer muito mais coisas. Eu realmente amo as férias, pois o tempo é muito precioso, e isso me faz muita falta ao longo do ano, e eu preciso usá-lo muito bem quando chega. Da última vez que tirei férias, fiquei tão imerso que acabei me esquecendo do dia da minha volta; acabei faltando um dia de trabalho e, claro, minha chefe me deu aquela bronca, mas foi um acontecimento engraçado para postar nos threads haha.
