***Splinterlands*** é um jogo de estratégia, em cada batalha vamos nos deparar com adversidades e obstáculos que naturalmente devemos nos adaptar. Usar os monstros certos para cada situação é uma das coisas que um jogador deve entender para se  dar bem em suas batalhas.

As habilidades em um monstro é algo que devemos nos atentar ao fazer nossas escolhas e é importante basear essas escolhas em qual regra de batalha esta ativa naquele momento.

Jogadores iniciantes devem estar cientes disso que eu disse acima, claro que para aqueles que estão começando nesse novo universo muitas novidades acaba sendo um pouco confuso, mas hoje vamos falar sobre uma habilidade específica: ***SCAVENGER***

Vou fazer o meu melhor para que você compreenda quais são as melhores oportunidades para usar um monstro que possui essa habilidade, em quais monstros e claro uma batalha para tornar isso um pouco mais didático!

Antes de começar a falar sobre essa habilidade, gostaria de mencionar que não existe uma regra ou uma obrigatoriedade dentro de uma partida. Cada jogador deve usar sua intuição, tato e experiência para para definir as melhores chances de encaixar essa habilidade em sua estratégia. Dito isso, vamos identificar o que essa habilidade faz:

Não é atoa, um pouco sugestivo e até indicativo, temos um abutre como símbolo dessa habilidade. Uma habilidade que se faz ativa quando um monstro na campo morre, isso mesmo, de qual qualquer lado do campo quando um monstro morre adiciona ***+ 1*** de vida para o monstro que detém essa habilidade.

Essa habilidade está espalhada pelos monstros em ***Splinterlands***, desde seu primeiro nível ou  quando alcança níveis elevados, abaixo eu separei por elemento quais monstros vão possuir essa habilidade em seus respectivos leveis por elementos:

No total temos 15 monstros que possuem essa habilidade, 6 desses monstros vão ter a habilidade ***SCAVENGER*** em seu nível 1.

Em sua maioria vamos encontrar esse monstros detentores do ataque melee, 2 com com ataque ranged, 1 com ataque mágico e 3 sem ataques.

## Quais as melhores oportunidades para usar essa habilidade:

Bom, dentro da minha visão de jogador, a melhor oportunidade para usar um monstro que possui ***SCAVENGER*** é quando a regra de batalha ***Noxious Fumes*** está ativa:

|Todos os monstros começam a partida envenenados.|

Monstros que entram para a batalha quando essa regra está ativa tem seu tempo de vida contados (exceto se de alguma forma estiverem imunes). Como existe uma grande facilidade de monstros morrerem rapidamente dependendo da quantidade de mana disposta, um monstro que possui a habilidade ***SCAVENGER*** se beneficia disso. Se todos estão perdendo sua vida e subindo, o monstro com essa habilidade aumenta sua quantidade de vida, ficando mais tempo em campo e dependendo apenas que a regra de batalha faça o seu trabalho.

Claro, existe uma serie de fatores do qual isso também pode não dar tão certo, mas com certeza essa é uma vantagem de que muitos jogadores utilizam.

Uma batalha para ilustrar um pouco do que eu disse acima, talvez esse não seja o melhor exemplo que eu poderia trazer para um post, confesso que eu fiz muitas batalhas para conseguir uma que fosse mais propícia a ser estudada. Mas acalme-se, apesar de não ser o que eu gostaria, ainda sim você poderá ver essa habilidade funcionando muito bem com o monstro ***Riftwing***!

Aqui você pode observar quais foram as condições de batalha. A regra ***Noxious Fumes*** determinou quais foram as minhas escolhas para essa partida. ***Speed Reverse*** foi uma pedra no meu caminho, pois o monstro que eu gostaria de trazer é um monstro rápido que acabou se fazendo de lento por essa condição, isso me atrapalhou um pouco, sua alta velocidade traz benefícios relevantes.

- A habilidade ***WEAKEN*** https://images.ecency.com/DQmfWvzYYDU76Qo8BHDFgJG2jsRiw5YaQijJ7NrPchzfw3f/ability_weaken.png é um combo que eu acho divertido traze para uma batalha dessas, existe uma boa possibilidade de fazer com que monstros inimigos morram mais rapidamente  no primeiro ou segundo turno. Isso é ótimo para ***SCAVENGER***.


- Escolhi ir com uma estratégia principal bem ofensiva, aqui não faria muita diferença em tentar me defender. O objetivo era simples: tentar resolver essa partida em seus primeiros rounds, poupar monstros com imunidade e deixar que Riftwing se beneficiasse das mortes alheias.

Repare como esse monstro se tornou uma ótima proteção contra os ataques ***Sneak***s que meu adversário fez contra meus últimos monstros. Em um certo momento ele estava com pouca vida e prestes a ser eliminado de campo, mas bastou apenas que algumas mortes acontecessem para que ele novamente se estabelecesse em campo e segurasse algum ataque ou mesmo o veneno da regra de batalha.

Um conjunto de habilidade tornou esse monstro útil dentro do campo, a capacidade de regenerar sua vida através das mortes que eram certamente o que aconteceria, fez com que esse monstro se torna-se um ótimo mecanismo de defesa para essa partida.

Como eu já disse acima, não existem regras ou obrigatoriedade, precisamos compreender quais são as melhores oportunidades. Talvez em algum momento outra estratégia seja mais eficiente, a quantidade mana pode limitar nossas ações e até outras regras em conjunto podem mudar a direção. O importante é que cada jogador compreenda suas ações e decisões, um pouco de conhecimento nunca é demais e espero ter contribuído de alguma forma hoje. ## What are the best opportunities to use this skill:

Well, from my player perspective, the best opportunity to use a monster that has ***SCAVENGER*** is when the ***Noxious Fumes*** battle rule is active:

Monsters that enter battle when this rule is active have their lifetimes counted (unless they are somehow immune). As there is a great facility for monsters to die quickly depending on the amount of mana available, a monster that has the ***SCAVENGER*** ability benefits from this. If everyone is losing their health and going up, the monster with this skill increases its amount of health, staying longer on the field and depending only on the battle rule to do its work.

Of course, there are a number of factors that this may not work out so well, but for sure this is an advantage that many players use.

A battle to illustrate a little of what I said above, maybe this is not the best example I could bring to a post, I confess that I fought many battles to get one that was more conducive to being studied. But calm down, even though it's not what I would like, you can still see this skill working very well with the ***Riftwing*** monster!

Here you can see what the battle conditions were. The ***Noxious Fumes*** rule determined what my picks were for this match. ***Speed ​​Reverse*** was a stumbling block in my way, because the monster I would like to bring is a fast monster that ended up playing slow because of this condition, it bothered me a little, its high speed brings relevant benefits.

- The ***WEAKEN*** skill https://images.ecency.com/DQmfWvzYYDU76Qo8BHDFgJG2jsRiw5YaQijJ7NrPchzfw3f/ability_weaken.png is a combo that I find fun to bring to a battle like this, there is a good possibility to make enemy monsters die more quickly in the first or second round. This is great for ***SCAVENGER***.


- I chose to go with a very offensive main strategy, here it wouldn't make much difference in trying to defend myself. The goal was simple: try to solve this match in its first few rounds, spare monsters with immunity, and let Riftwing benefit from other people's deaths.

Notice how this monster became a great protection against the ***Sneak***s attacks that my opponent made against my last monsters. At a certain point he was low on health and about to be eliminated from the field, but it only took a few deaths for him to establish himself on the field again and hold some attack or even the poison of the battle rule.

A skill set made this monster useful on the field, the ability to regenerate its health through the kills that were sure to happen, made this monster a great defense mechanism for this match.

As I said above, there are no rules or obligations, we need to understand what the best opportunities are. Maybe at some point another strategy will be more efficient, the amount of mana can limit our actions and even other rules together can change the direction. The important thing is that each player understands their actions and decisions, a little knowledge never hurts and I hope I contributed in some way today.
