Today I would like to talk about two items that can be very useful for various occasions: ***paracord and tarp.***

Knowing how to create survival shelters for different environments is a valuable skill. Nobody wants to be in a tough situation to survive. That's why we need to be more prepared for the worst-case scenario. The best way to do this is to learn as many survival tips or skills as you can and practice them regularly.

We know that the shelter is one of the ***5 pillars*** in an eventual survival situation and with paracord and a tarp it is possible to improvise a place to take shelter from adverse times. There are some ways and techniques to improvise shelters, see the image:

If you don't carry a tarp, I'll give you good reasons to have one in your backpack:

It's light and relatively doesn't take up as much space in a backpack, even if you carry a tent, the tarp can help with a cover or/and lining under your tent so it doesn't let moisture seep inside.

 And even in an eventual need, it can be used to capture rainwater:

Paracord is an important item to have with you. The versatility of its use makes it worthwhile in any situation.

Originally used by paratroopers of the Second World War, who found numerous uses in its use, the paracord has already been gaining ground among practitioners of outdoor activities.

For survivalists this is an indispensable accessory for opening up a range of options when it comes to necessity and improvisation.


Consider what you have and what you need, figure out a way to get it, plan your time, and focus on the most urgent things first.

Preparing is not just about buying things. There is much more to this than simply acquiring material. Read books on survivalism or search the Internet and learn new things, adapt new skills that will help you during difficult times.

Se você não carrega uma lona , vou te dar  bons motivos para ter uma em sua mochila:

É leve e relativamente não ocupa tanto espaço em uma mochila,  mesmo que você transporte uma barraca, a lona pode auxiliar em uma cobertura ou/ e forrar por baixo da sua barraca para não deixar umidade transpassar para dentro.

 E até em uma eventual necessidade, pode ser usada em captar a água da chuva:

Preparar-se não é só comprar coisas. Há muito mais nisso do que simplesmente adquirir material. Leia livros sobre sobrevivencialismo ou pesquise na Internet e aprenda coisas novas, adapte novas habilidades que irão ajudá-lo durante tempos difíceis.
