Essa semana eu estava lendo alguns artigos sobre a arte da guerra, gosto desse tipo de tema! O legal é que esse livro tem ensinamentos que vão além da guerra propriamente dita, ele é muito indicado também para pessoas do mundo corporativo, empreendedores, políticos e até mesmo para vida pessoal. Para aqueles que não o conhecem, o livro "Arte da Guerra" foi escrito por um general  chinês (Sun Tzu) que apresenta várias táticas de guerra e estratégias além de conhecimentos muito relevantes mas que podem ser aplicadas a várias situações. 


Embora o livro tenha sido escrito como um manual de guerra e as pessoas usarem para outros fins hoje em dia ( ainda bem), vamos voltar para as raízes da intenção de Sun Tzu e usar seus ensinamentos para a nossa guerra aqui dentro de Splinterlands! Eu separei 4 pontos relevantes para serem usados em nossas batalhas.

## Conheça o seu inimigo como a si mesmo.

Alguns oponentes conseguimos encontrar com uma certa frequência, eu mesmo me deparo com alguns. Porém em nossas batalhas vamos nos deparar com muitos oponentes e estudar a fundo ou conhecer cada um deles se torna quase impossível. 

Mas temos aqui uma dica! Ao começar uma batalha podemos espiar rapidamente o que nosso oponente usou nas últimas 5 batalhas. Isso nos dá uma boa referência das possíveis escolhas que ele poderá fazer contra você. Se a partida for muito sugestiva através das limitações ( elementos disponíveis, mana, regra de batalha), ficará bem mais fácil entender o que seu adversário vai usar.

Devemos também conhecer a nós mesmos, e assim como essa janela é aberta para ver o que nosso oponente usou, também estamos expostos por lá. Então o que devemos fazer é tentar variar os decks ou elementos que usamos, assim ficamos menos previsíveis aos seus olhos.

Eu sei que muitos jogadores ainda estão no começo de sua jornada por aqui, mas você pode ir ao mercado e alugar alguns cartões baratos para melhorar seus deck e ser menos previsível?

##  Planeje com antecedência

Sun Tzu diz que "a vitória é obtida antes da batalha" e isso é verdade. Para mim, a melhor maneira de se preparar é ir ao mercado e alugar ( ou comprar) cartas que podem complementar meu deck. Podemos alugar decks incrivelmente bons sem gastar muito, podemos criar boas estratégias para determinadas regras de batalhas e garantir algumas vitórias quando ela estiver ativada. 

***Eu posso dar um exemplo simples quanto a isso:***

Eu não possuo o monstro ***Gelatinous Cube***, então eu preciso ir ao mercado alugar para ter ela em meu leque de opções. Essa é uma carta que parece inofensiva, mas que me garantiu muitas vitórias em regras como ***Noxious Fumes***, eu alugo essa carta especificamente para essa regra. Se eu não me preparo antes da possibilidades, possivelmente eu não teria as vitórias que essa carta me dá nessa regra em específico e já teve ocasiões em que perdi por achar que tinha ela como opção mas esqueci de alugar.


Outra forma de se preparar é adquirindo conhecimento. Existem várias fontes de conhecimento em que podemos nos aperfeiçoar.  Aqui mesmo na Hive, podemos encontrar inúmeros artigos sobre Splinterlands que você pode procurar. Também é importante ter um grupo em que você possa se socializar e conversar sobre Splinterlands, outras pessoas podem saber o que você não sabe e compartilhar conhecimento pode agregar muito. Com diz Sêneca "o conhecimento está está espalhado pela sociedade". Não vou confundi-lo com outro notório pensador das antiguidades (lol), vamos para o próximo tópico!




## Concentre seus recursos

"A Arte da Guerra" enfatiza a importância em concentrar o seus recursos onde eles podem ter maiores impactos. Dentro de Splinterlands podemos utilizar esse conhecimento, basta saber o que você está fazendo.

Gosto de usar isso em minhas batalhas de maneira ofensiva quando concentro a maior parte de meu poder de fogo em um alvo em específico. Ao invés de espalhar seus ataques com monstros atacando qualquer lugar do campo, tente foca-los em um só lugar, vai ser mais eficiente.

Na linha de trás podemos usar monstros com habilidades ***Snipe***, ***Sneak*** e ***Opportunity*** que vão direcionar seus ataques em lugares específicos. Então a minha sugestão é que você comece a concentrar em apenas um lugar seus ataques. Se for usar ***Snipe***, use todos ***Snipe*** que puder e evite ***Sneak*** ou ***Opportunity*** e vice-versa. Assim você encontra um local que vai se tornar vulnerável pelas suas próprias decisões.

Claro que essa não é uma regra, não é um gabarito do qual você deve seguir sem questionar. Eu digo isso para que você possa repensar a forma com que joga e considerar deixar sua ofensividade com um melhor direcionamento. E claro, você deve levar em consideração as variáveis de uma partida para que isso funcione.

## Conheça o terreno

"Conheça o terreno antes de entrar em uma batalha" seria uma ótima dica até mesmo para os soldados chineses daquela época, certo? Não dá para enfrentar o desconhecido, isso é implorar para ser derrotado. O nosso terreno é a regra de batalha.

Em cada batalha temos uma, duas ou três regras e isso determina muitas coisas, conhecer cada uma delas é muito importante para ter um bom resultado e fazer boas escolhas. Algumas regras vão mudar totalmente a dinâmica do que conhecemos, e a regra Reverse Speed por exemplo, é uma regra que inverte a velocidade dos monstros.

Saber lidar com cada uma delas é muito importante, conhecer as melhores opções e lidar com suas características assim como se fosse um campo de batalha. Cada monstros terá uma maior eficiência em determinadas situações, uma regra pode transformar uma carta que seria despresível em outra situação em uma carta de grande utilidade no momento e situação adequada. E é por isso que devemos conhecer bem o terrenos que pisamos, é através dele que vamos acreditar que é um obstáculo ou uma forma de se sobressair contra o adversário, só vai depender se você terá a visão certa para compreender.

Usar os ensinamentos de ***"A Arte da Guerra"*** em ***Splinterlands*** pode ser muito eficaz para nós jogadores e eu citei apenas alguns pontos do qual eu gosto mais e que gostaria de falar hoje. Talvez outros pontos eu guarde só para mim, afinal, nem todo conhecimento eu devo passar adiante, já que eu posso enfrentar você qualquer dia haha!

This week I was reading some articles about the art of war, I like that kind of theme! The cool thing is that this book has teachings that go beyond the war itself, it is also very suitable for people in the corporate world, entrepreneurs, politicians and even for personal life. For those who don't know him, the book "Art of War" was written by a Chinese general (Sun Tzu) that presents various war tactics and strategies in addition to very relevant knowledge that can be applied to various situations.


Although the book was written as a warfare manual and people use it for other purposes today (thankfully), let's go back to the roots of Sun Tzu's intent and use his teachings for our warfare here within Splinterlands! I separated 4 relevant points to be used in our battles.

## Know your enemy as yourself.

Some opponents we managed to meet with a certain frequency, I come across some myself. However, in our battles we will face many opponents and studying them in depth or getting to know each one of them becomes almost impossible.

But here's a tip! When starting a battle, we can quickly see what our opponent has used in the last 5 battles. This gives us a good reference of the possible choices he could make against you. If the game is very suggestive through the limitations (available elements, mana, battle rule), it will be much easier to understand what your opponent will use.

I don't own the ***Gelatinous Cube*** monster, so I need to go to the rent market to have her in my range of options. This is a card that seems innocuous, but it has won me many wins in rules like ***Noxious Fumes***, I rent this card specifically for this rule. ## Focus your resources

"The Art of War" emphasizes the importance of focusing your resources where they can have the greatest impact. Within Splinterlands we can utilize that knowledge, just know what you're doing.

I like to use this in my battles offensively when I focus most of my firepower on a specific target. Instead of spreading your attacks with monsters attacking anywhere on the field, try to focus them in one place, it will be more efficient.

In the back row we can use monsters with ***Snipe***, ***Sneak*** and ***Opportunity*** skills that will target their attacks in specific places. So my suggestion is that you start concentrating your attacks in just one place. If you are going to use ***Snipe***, use as many ***Snipe*** as you can and avoid ***Sneak*** or ***Opportunity*** and vice versa. So you find a place that will become vulnerable by its own decisions.

Of course, this is not a rule, it is not a template that you must follow without question. I say this so you can rethink the way you play and consider letting your offense better target you. And of course, you have to take into account the variables of a match for this to work.

## Know the terrain

In each battle we have one, two or three rules and this determines many things, knowing each one of them is very important to have a good result and make good choices. Some rules will totally change the dynamics of what we know, and the Reverse Speed rule for example, is a rule that reverses the speed of monsters.
