Game addiction is not a good thing. I can't agree less with you that the inability to control a certain behaviour that is detrimental to the brain is addiction. No amount of reward is enough to justify game addiction. It's a no.

Everything perfectly summed up, being an Game addict i can relate with all of its side effects even if a reward is involved.

I was too addicted for years that i almost forgot about food, study and interaction in real life.

Addiction is not something someone should be proud of because of its negative effect. Money rewards from gaming shouldn't be a criteria for addiction.
