More free to use Steem token art! This time themed appropriately for the current situation. Hopefully the price doesn't have too many people down in the dumps. These things happen. Just keep posting, just keep posting, just keep posting.

Me personally I tend to look forward to these big dips for Steem and I'm always saving a bit of fiat for these situations. Besides posting, this is how I've "earned" the most on the platform. I put that in quotes, because I haven't actually taken anything out since I started, but it's how I've increased my holdings in Steem which is really what I'm after on the financial end of my journey here.

As an artist and content creator in my eyes the future of Steem is extremely bright and promising. There are certain markets that have a large pool of potential users that just don't have a good solution for monetization, for example indie comics.

I have lots of friends that do indie comics and for most, well...actually all that I know of they are labors of love. It's not really something that they can make any decent living doing. They can get something, but considering the amount of work it takes to develop a comic, it's really mostly out of passion.

I think Steem, maybe not necessarily Steemit, but Steem, with a different front end could be THE place for indie comic developers, especially once SMTs hit the streets. Imagine a site optimized for just this function, every page having it's own comment thread, and being considered a post so able to earn it's own rewards, I can also see something like an escrow system that incentivises the author to finish, like having a bucket of rewards waiting for when they finish or hit a certain benchmark. The possibilities are really endless.

For the technically knowledgeable about this stuff, I just created a particle emitter and a domain object(this simulates some real world physics), then dumped a bunch of particles on this Steem token, and meshed them with an OVDB Mesher. Threw a red specular material on there, take a snapshot and abracadabra! Bloody Coin!
