The Wood Wide Web  !

The roots of the trees are 'a bit' older than the WWW (world wide web) .  
Maybe they got the inspiration from the trees - with their roots connecting to each other- for the existence of the connection between people: the internet communication between people.  

Trees support each other through their roots connecting with the roots of other trees.

Thanks for your comment! I admire the roots of trees.  We often cannot see them like on this picture but they resemble a much bigger network of wires.
