Ideas how to better upvoting system of Steemit.

After reading and having conversation under this post https://steemit.com/steemitschool/@daniarnold/how-to-become-a-steemit-whale

I came to conclusion that somebodys needs to at least make up some ideas how to fix what we have before most of people under certain level of power will leave steemit and only thing that it really needs that someone creates better and mainly more equal system. That is not this where one person has 100 times more power than weakest. 

First idea that i had trending should be in different levels like:

Trending  under 1.00$
Trending  under 5.00$
Trending  under 25.00$
Trending  under 50.00$
Trending  under 150.00$
Trending over 150.00$

This would give new comers at least some visibility. 

And most important thing is that there should be upper limit for upvotes like 10$.. specially when people are voting their own posts, so that your gain actually comes from  multiple instead of "brown nosing" whales.

hi @mikael79,very good point here.The idea to show a better trending system sounds good to me.I do like steemit but it is lacking a certain something.The thing is,the way i see it,when you try to build a channel on youtube it takes time and i think steemit will be the same for most.Although here we the option to use upvoting bots and youtube doesnt.I've just started to use these bots so ill let you know how that works out with a post.

you have competitive start in every platform, and that is how it should be, but in steemit it feels like it has been too focused on top of the curve.
