I was going to write a post on the double standards currently being employed within our justice system.  Particularly in reference to the Mueller investigation and various efforts by Congress and AG reports that have been published.  When doing the research for this type of article, I found out it had already been written, and written quiet well I think.

The article [Commentary: The double standards of the Mueller investigation ](http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-perspec-hanson-mueller-mccabe-hillary-clinton-donald-trump-james-comey-huma-abedin-investigation-0430-story.html) was published in the Chicago Tribune on April 30, 2018 by Victor Davis Hanson.  Mr. Hanson describes the eventual meeting of these efforts to be an oncoming train wreck, and it's easy to see it coming.

Mueller's probe has been working feverishly to try to uncover anything that could be construed as an illegal action by anyone in the Trump organization, not just collusion with the Russians.  In doing so Mueller continues to bring actions that are illegal to light, but with no actions from the DOJ on these activities.

The actions noted in the article include lying to federal officers, lying to Congress, obstruction of justice, leaking sensitive information, and actual collusion with Russia.  All these actions were committed by individuals that oppose President Trump.  At the time when Mr. Hanson wrote the article he noted that Flynn and Cohen were small enough players to go after, you can now add Manafort to that list.  In the same paragraph he pointed to the possibility that Clinton, McCabe, and Comey were to large to go after.

It's well past the time this double standard of justice should have been eliminated.  The cabal directed at unseating President Trump should be brought out into the light for all of us to review.  It's not to the level of treason or sedition, both of which require the use of violence.  It is however up to the level that numerous people have committed crimes for which they could spend several years in jail but so far their actions have been held above the law.

If the laws of the country are good enough for you, I, President Trump and his associates, shouldn't they be good enough to cover everyone?  In the legal system, there can be no one allowed to operate above the law in this manner.  Take a few moments and read the article, having been written in April, even with a little age it's still very enlightening.
