All of us on Steem are looking for an opportunity to earn more rewards.  Well let me introduce you to a new community run reward system that can help you earn some  fun upvote rewards.  

The Rewards Pool currently has an upvote of about $4.00 that it dishes out to 8 lucky winners a day.  

There are currently 50 people in the Pool, and each day in the US evening they run the drawing for the next day's winners.

Within 24 hours of the drawing, the winners will get an upvote from the @Rewards-pool account.  You just need to have a post less than 3 days old for the vote to be applied to.

So how do you participate?

There are two ways to become members of the Reward Pool.  You can either delegate 250 SP to the Rewards Pool account which you can do by replacing [username] in the following link with your own steemId: https://steemconnect.com/sign/delegateVestingShares?delegator=[username]&delegatee=rewards-pool&vesting_shares=250.00%20SP

Or you can send a 10 Steem Payment to the Rewards-Pool Account for a one month membership.  

So here's a few numbers for consideration.  

With the 10 STEEM membership, you need to get 3 upvotes from the account at current value to make up the STEEM in total rewards (this will not result in enough liquid reward to buy in the following month, but that is complicated math, sorry).

With the delegation option it is a little bit of a different matter.  I needed to do some figuring when I delegated to the Pool.  So here's the deal, 250 SP at 100% voting power is worth a 0.05 upvote.  So in order for me to make as much in upvote value as ONE vote from Rewards Pool out of the delegation I would need to post and upvote myself 80 times a month.  And that's if I only get selected once a month for the Reward Vote.

Okay.... but what about all the other votes I could be casting with that SP?  Fair question.  Total voting power of 250 SP casting 10 100% votes a day for 30 days is $15.00.  Let's say I post once a day and upvote every post 100% that's $1.50 out of the $15, so I am taking $13.50 away from other people I am upvoting, but I am still distributing $129 in rewards ($4.30 a day).  I'm okay with that trade off.
