I saw on Twitter yesterday that @fulltimegeek has launched his witness! He may have picked a not so good day to launch, since I have been trying to vote for him for something like 30 hours and get nothing but the spinning wheel of death.

Geek has been one of the most prominent minnow supporters and STEEM enthusiasts of the big accounts for as long as I have been aware of him. He certainly has a desire to see the platform, and the people he supports, do well. And, perhaps most importantly, I don't feel like he is running a witness because of the lure of extra rewards. He is doing it to try to provide support for the community. Support that sometimes seems sorely lacking from some of our highest ranked witnesses. People who seem content to just run their witness and collect the extra STEEM while remaining silent on the blockchain otherwise for months on end.

So, as soon as all this instability stops, and we can get a transaction broadcast onto the chain (I may not even be able to create this post due to being "out of Resource Credits") go over to your Vote Witnesses and lay down a vote for @fulltimegeek. Let's push him to the top 20 in a hurry.

sad to say @fulltimegeek but i spent 10 minutes trying to find the vote list to vote for you and STILL i can't find it, you haven't posted it on ANY of your posts nor does it exist in your linkage on your profile. Because @fulltimegeek is not in the Top 100 yet you do have to put in his name manually.

On the Vote for Witnesses Page, scroll all the way down past the Top 100 where there is a slot that you can type in the name of witnesses you would like to vote for outside of the top 100.  Just type in fulltimegeek and click VOTE and it will go through for ya.

I have successfully voted for @fulltimegeek as witness!  

It may have been a tough time to get through initially but the timing might be perfect.  With the hard fork silliness, some folks will be second guessing or refreshing their witness votes.  

Either way, he has my vote and should have everyone else's well in my opinion.

Exactly!  There is room for a lot of realignment in the Witness list.  Those who step up an show that they are here for more than just status and Witness Rewards will move up, while those who remain silent and/or do nothing in these times will hopefully begin to slide down.  

Of course there is almost no chance go getting into the top 20 without that special vote from @pumpkin/@freedom, but maybe they should be rethinking their votes as well!  They do change who they support from time to time, so there is hope.
