People know that lying is bad but still many commits them just to gain something in return. Some used them just to deceived other people so they could earn their own interest. Exercising this kind of action has been prohibited by the rule of law and by religious groups.

Since our birth our parents teach us not to do lying but still as a human being you are prone to do so. You don't have intention on lying but since you are sometimes in a difficult situation, you still do it.

Sometimes lying to someone can help save lives especially those people who are in bad health or in critical condition. These kind of lies are categorized as white lie.  This one is considered good to many people but yet this is still a sin in the eyes of God.
