It's been a while since the last time I made a post about the SPS (Worker Proposals), so this is a sort of a reminder if you will, to each and everyone of you that if we want to see STEEM thrive in the future we HAVE to cast our vote to those proposals that will bring us one step closer to our goal and at the same time make everyone's Steem experience a little more pleasant.

To begin with, the total SPS fund at the moment of writing is ~227K SBD. This means that the system may fund submitted proposals equal to 1% of the total supply on daily basis, which is approximately 2270 SBD. In order for a proposal to receive the necessary funds needs to be sitting **above** the return proposal submitted by @gtg.

So let's have a look which ones are receiving the requested funds:

- Obviously @yabapmatt's ultimate tool. The Steem Keychain. Needless to mention that this project is a MUST use tool and will save you from troubles in various cases as it can handle multiple accounts and provide maximum security when one decides to transfer their STEEM funds left and right. Hands down one of the best, if not the best project, at least for me right now. Further development? I would vote for it any day...

- @Howo has been doing an incredible job at testing, reviewing and documenting the upcoming SMT's and the least we can do is support his proposal. After all, what we all want is a smooth transition and the least possible implications when SMT's will be officially launched, right? 

- A few hours ago, finally, the proposal submitted by @anyx almost 4 hours ago just crossed the 17.4 million SP mark (@gtg's return proposal) and is sitting at 17.645 mil SP. And with your help it can climb even higher. To give you an idea of how important this node is and why it should work like a charm, I'll try to make it as simple as possible. When this particular node is down...half of the Steem world if not more is "dead". And he's just asking 15 SBD daily for maintenance....I mean come on...

- The last proposal that receives funds is that new trend...the @sbdpotato experiment submitted by @thecryptodrive. Theoretically what he proposes could work. I am relying on his word that this daily post along with the 3 - 4 comments which have turned out to be a curation paradise for some big accounts will stop and he will only make only one every week so that we can all track the progress that has been made.

 Now let's see some proposals that are flying under the radar, while they shouldn't...

- @steemonboarding is making a huge effort and is a really promising project. They people behind the scenes are working hard to spread the word about the Steem blockchain and they are working on tools that would help to bring the "masses" to Steem. - There is no doubt that thanks to one of our top witnesses, @themarkymark spam and abuse have been significantly reduced. We may have a long way to go till it's eliminated / if...but the requested funds for a [Global blacklist API](https://steemit.com/@themarkymark/global-blacklist-api-proposal) is nothing compared to the digging and the hours he has spent to truck down abusers the last few years...

- Ever since HF 21/22 was implemented there has been a shift towards manual curation. There are a few projects such as @curangel and @ocdb @ocd who have been doing an excellent job. As a matter of fact many community members have joined their effort by trailing these projects with their accounts either because they have not much time to curate themselves, or simply because they know that their votes will land exactly where it should...But in order to trail one's account you need to do it via tools such as @steemauto designed by @mahdiyari. So how come this particular proposal has been sitting near the bottom...just wondering? 

All the above proposals combined require less than 1/3 of daily SPS budget...

_We take everything for granted...that we'll turn on our PC's we'll login to out Steem accounts and everything should be working just fine. Well...do your part, because there are people who have been working really hard so that we can have fun / enjoy what the Steem network has to offer._

Note that all the above is just my personal opinions and by no means I have something to gain if a proposal is being  funded or not. It is just the way I see things...

You might think that just because you have little SP stake your vote is worthless. Think again. We all have a say in this and trust me, regardless of how much SP you are holding...they add up.

I urge you to do your own research by visiting Steemworld.org. Log in with your Steem account and vote according to what you think that will drive us forward...and not the other way around.
