National Let's Hug Day

# According to World National Holidays today is National Let's Hug Day.

This may seem controversial with social distancing. Should we hug? It's not a handshake where you share germs directly but at the same time it is definitely crossing over the 2 meters and no touch zone.

### Free hugs = Super Spreaders
It's really up to you but I don't think the covid time is the time to run up to strangers and give free hugs. Today free hugs would turn into a super spreader.

### air hugs
If it really get's awkward we can celebrate with air hugs. Just act as if you were delivering the hug but from a safe distance. There have already been several incidences where people start with a hug and they know inside not to be spreaders and they end up with just giving a pat on the back.

### Touch
Today is not the age of free hugs, but human beings have difficulty living without touch. If there is someone close to you that you can trust today, give him or her a big hug. It would be good for both of you. If not then at least hug your dog. I'm not sure if you can hug a cat. Whenever I get close to them they seem to run away.

Didnt know a HUG day was invented. Of all days, I think this is one became instantly one of my favourites. Though the year 2020 is not the best year to learn about this one :( Thats said, I think we can hug each other regardless of miss COVID, just dont talk while hugging... Honestly, hugging without without talking is way better than talking during a hug :) I would suggest: Go for the Hug!

This is the best reply and well thought out @edje. There is actually a "Hugging Day" in January. December 3rd is "Let's Hug Day". I think it's a really cool idea.

I like what you said about not talking while hugging. It is less viral than a handshake.

Yes. I will send Marky Monday some love on his youtube channel and try to get him on board. I think we all should visit his youtube channel. He is a local talent in Canada but basically undiscovered.

Regarding the lucid dreamer device: I think the level of lucid dreaming can be reached without devices. From time to time I get into this state, automatically. Once I was invited to an lucid dreaming training event held in a mongolian yurt; Unfortunately I couldnt make it; When I would've I could tell you more if such training helps. Presearch-ed (instead of Googling) a bit; Maybe this link helps to learn how to get into a lucid dream state, without all sort of electronics.
