#### I created some gifs and shared them on my recent [post](https://steemit.com/steemit/@minion/introducing-the-new-steemit-gifs-share-greater-than-enjoy-greater-than-promote-steemit-while-doing-so). But my personal favorites are the minion ones because they accurately represent the current relationship between steem Whales and Minnows.

This gif represents the sheer crowd of Minnows that are tired of getting un-noticed by the Whales and are Trying their best to get attention from them but fail every time, therefore end up loosing faith in the system and motivation. It also shows that whales have a huge crowd of followers all seeking attention, or something else?

This one represents the big respect that the community has for steem whales and their exictement of getting noticed by them, It also represents how a single word from a whale can have great value due to the massive amount of Steem Power that a whale has, the crowd will support anything that the whale has to say, no matter if it's good or bad.

These gifs proove to show how much of a Social Platform is Steemit.com.

A note to all minnows reading this, Steemit.com isn't about the numbers you see on the Trending Page or This post or any post, It's about creating something, sharing it and getting some "cash" as a bonus. The platform is about being social and having fun sharing what you create and interacting with each-other. The second you forget about the numbers you will see what Steemit is truly about, you will than start to truly enjoy the time you spend here, your post quality will increase, since you won't be focused on "how to get to the trending page" or "how to get noticed by a whale" or anything like that, you will be focused on what you like, share a nice image you took with your phone this morning or share a great idea, share your thoughts on a topic, you will start to post for yourself not for someone else, the comments you see below will matter to you more, because that someone who commented is as passionate for that just as you are and he isn't commenting for the numbers, he's commenting because he genuinely likes your post, because he's like minded  or shares the same opinion as you!

Now look at the gifs above and think about the true meaning of them, that  all those minnows aren't  seeking "attention" from whales, but instead the numbers that a whale vote can give to them.
