## If You Want to Delegate to MSP This is How You Can Do It!

***Do you want to participate in the Make a Minnow contest of MSP and do not know how to delegate the 10sp that are required to be a nominator?***
 
First of all, we must clarify some things.
 
1.	We highly recommend you don’t delegate any sp unless you have more than 50 sp of your own, this will make sure your account functions correctly for posting, upvoting and commenting.
2.	The amount of 10sp that is required to be delegated to MSP in order to participate in the contest is not limited, it can be a higher amount.
3.	Minnow Support Project does not require you to delegate anything from your sp to be able to use our services, it is only used to verify that you are a supportive member of the community if you are going to participate in the contest.
4.	Minnow Support does not give any kind of dividends or benefits in exchange for delegations, only a vote of thanks is given from @msp-lovebot when thee user delegates more than 100SP, but they are not to generate an economic benefit in exchange for the delegation.
5.	Minnow Support Project is non-profit, so all delegations received in the main community account @minnowsupport are used to give free upvotes every 30 hours to any member of the community who requests it through a command on our discord server (the post must meet a minimum quality you can find [HERE](https://steemit.com/minnowsupportproject/@discordiant/msp-blacklist-guidelines-defined-with-examples ) .

### Now Let's start with the Tutorial!
 
Let’s say you are not tech savvy and have no idea how to make a link to delegate through SteemConnect, this tutorial will be done through the delegation tool on the official website of [Minnow Support Project](http://minnowsupportproject.org ) and it will create a link for you easily!
 
1.	Go to the page in question http://minnowsupportproject.org in the tab that says **delegation** or we can go directly using this URL: http://minnowsupportproject.org/delegation/ .

2.	Once here, scroll down to where it says ***delegate to msp now*** and click there!

3.	This will take us to the next page, where we will see the MSP delegation assistant.

4.	On this page complete the following fields: 1. Delegator, this is your steem username without the @, 2. The Delegatee, Minnowsupport is already selected (here we can choose any of the associated accounts to MSP the delegation will count the same to the contest as long as is 10 sp) we recommend minnowsupport because it supports the most users, 3. The Steem Power that we want to delegate (this must be greater than or equal to 10 if you want to participate in the MAM contest, but it can be the amount you want). As we see in the image below you have to click on ***SUBMIT***!

5.	Now we will see a URL at the top where it says ***COPY URL***

6.	Then we must go to a new tab or window of our browser and paste the URL that we have copied before and paste it into the address bar.

7.	All the previous steps helped us to create a link to use SteemConnect and make the delegation. From now on we just have to confirm with our active key our identity as a user of the corresponding Steem account and the process is done!
