## Espiritualidad: El camino del Espíritu

<p><div class=text-justify> Saludos Hivers, hace unas semanas propuse a esta bella Comunidad de @Naturalmedicine el reto de #Spirituality y me siento muy feliz de que se hayan animado a compartir sus experiencias. Con cada participación siento que he aprendido muchísimo y ha sido una semana de mucha reflexión para mí.

Antes de compartirles mis vivencias sobre el tema, quisiera confesarles que esta inquietud surgió a raíz de una “revelación” que hice en el reto de @galenkp de fin de semana en la Comunidad @theweekend, en esa oportunidad le pedía a los participantes que revelaran algo que fuera un secreto, al menos dentro de la blockchain.

Luego de esto conversé con @riverflows y le pareció una idea estupenda diseñar este reto para la Comunidad, y pensamos en algunas preguntas orientadoras que podían guiar esta discusión, y así nació el reto #Spirituality.

### Mi revelación…

En mi revelación, conté que a los 15 años sentí un fuerte deseo de unirme a una Congregación de Monjas y formarme como una, sentía muchos deseos de servir a Dios a través de la iglesia. En ese entonces mis padres, conociendo mi carácter testarudo de lograr todo cuánto me proponía hacer, me orientaron a realizar un primer acercamiento para ver cómo era todo el movimiento hasta que estuviera completamente segura de mi decisión.

Así lo hice, estuve dos años activamente participando en diferentes actividades en la iglesia, fui catequista de Comunión, estudiaba todos los días las sagradas escrituras, también algo de teología y filosofía que daban en un curso para "laicos consagrados", entre otras cosas. Además, inicié por mi cuenta un trabajo de voluntariado en el Hospital Ortopédico Infantil que me cambió la vida para siempre (esta es una historia larga para otra ocasión).

A pesar de que me sentía a gusto y todas esas actividades me llenaban mucho, me di cuenta que esa no era la forma en la que quería servir. Aprecio mucho estar en libertad, poder moverme a mis anchas y de alguna manera iniciar ese camino no estaba en línea con eso. También llegó el primer amor a mi vida y hasta allí llegó la historia de la iglesia.

Luego de eso pasé los siguientes 5 años enfocada en mis estudios en la Universidad, sentía que algo me faltaba o había perdido y empezó esta interminable búsqueda espiritual.

### Inicio de un nuevo camino dentro de la espiritualidad:

Contarles toda mi travesía de estos últimos 17 años me tomaría muchísimas líneas, pero pudiera resumirlas en las siguientes: 

>> ###### "Transité por muchas doctrinas, creencias, prácticas y dogmas basados algunos en la religión, y otros en la anti-religión, también por los eclécticos y hasta los místicos y esotéricos", ha sido un largo recorrido lleno de aprendizajes y aún me falta tanto por aprender y entender.

También ha habido momentos en mi vida en los que me he peleado con Dios, y le he reclamado cosas, justo esos momentos que llaman “la noche oscura del alma” y luego me daba cuenta que no eran más que mis formas de ver la vida y las percepciones que tenía las que me hacían sufrir y regresaba de vuelta a ÉL..

Cada cosa que hice fue sumando algo, y estoy convencida de que sí inicio otra vez el mismo recorrido por todas las cosas que dejé atrás, los miraría de otra forma y tendría muchos más aprendizajes.

Hoy por hoy creo que “Espiritualidad” se trata de transitar **el camino del “Espíritu”** y hay muchas formas posibles para hacerlo, nuestra Alma escoge la vía que debemos recorrer y atrae a los Maestros que necesitamos para aprender, y todas son válidas porque responden al nivel de consciencia que tengamos en un momento dado.

Afortunadamente he tenido muchísimos guías que han influenciado positivamente ese camino del Espíritu, y otros que con enseñanzas un poco cuestionables me han hecho transitar el camino del perdón y trascender montones de sentimientos negativos para limpiar mi corazón por lo que en algún momento consideré una ofensa.

Mi gran Maestro: **“Jesús”**, pero no el que se quedó clavado en la cruz para ser usado por las religiones para crear la “culpa” en toda la humanidad. Creo en el Jesús vivo, en el que dijo “Yo Soy el camino, la verdad y la vida”, el metafísico que nos mostró no solo el camino del Amor sino también el del perdón como medio para trascender nuestras mentes limitadas.

### De la teoría a la práctica

Una de las cosas más difíciles ha sido poner en práctica lo aprendido. Veía como punto en común en la mayoría de las doctrinas que transité que partían de la premisa del “Amor” como el camino a esa vinculación con lo trascendente 

**¿Pero cómo se ponía en práctica esto? ¿Cómo puedes amar a unos completos desconocidos o aquéllos que conociéndolos no se merecían a mi parecer esa dádiva?**

Practicar la mente sin juicio y el desapego me llevó unos cuántos años de práctica, y aún no lo domino a perfección porque de vez en cuándo se me sale algún juicio por allí que me trae noticias de cosas que aún me falta trascender. Sin embargo, ha sido un gran punto de partida para adoptar una actitud más compasiva hacia los demás, y para no tomarme nada personal, respetando la forma de ser de cada quién y el camino que escogió para evolucionar.

Aprendí también a restarle importancia al mundo material, dejé las carreras hacia la productividad y las sustituí por horas de contemplación y disfrute a las más pequeñas cosas de mi entorno. Me adentré en la naturaleza y a despertar mis sentidos a través de ella. Empecé a escuchar a mi cuerpo y sus mensajes, a reconectarme nuevamente conmigo.

El Amor pude entenderlo en la práctica con mis hijos, no hay amor más sublime que el amor de una madre, todo lo aguanta, todo lo soporta, todo lo da, todo lo perdona… para las madres todo es posible… y también pude aprender a vivenciarlo con desconocidos a través de la Biodanza.

Ha sido un gran descubrimiento para mí que a través de la danza haya encontrado una forma de ver a los ojos del otro y llegar a su alma sin conocerlo, despertar emociones y un nivel de conexión que te lleva definitivamente a la trascendencia y la vinculación con el todo. En Biodanza entendí en la práctica eso que leía en todas partes sobre “todos somos uno”, la tan nombrada unidad.

Aún sigo transitando este camino del Espíritu, ahora con un nivel de consciencia muy distinto al de hace muchos años atrás y sin embargo, con tantos misterios de la vida por descubrir y conocer. Mis grandes aliados: el perdón, la fe, la aceptación y el agradecimiento. Mi recomendación:

>> ##### Tómate un espacio cada día para enumerar todas las bendiciones de tu vida y agradece por ellas.

Gracias, a todos por ser parte de esta iniciativa que ha alimentado mi alma de muchas formas.

## Spirituality: The Way of the Spirit  


<p><div class=text-justify> Greetings Hivers, a few weeks ago I proposed to this beautiful @Naturalmedicine Community the #Spirituality challenge and I am very happy that you have been encouraged to share your experiences. With each participation I feel I have learned so much and it has been a week of much reflection for me.

Before sharing my experiences on the subject, I would like to confess that this concern arose as a result of a "revelation" I made in @galenkp's weekend challenge in the @theweekend Community, in that opportunity I asked participants to reveal something that was a secret, at least within the blockchain.

After that I chatted with @riverflows and he thought it was a great idea to design this challenge for the Community, and we thought of some guiding questions that could guide this discussion, and so the #Spirituality challenge was born.

### My revelation...

In my revelation,  I confessed that at the age of 15 I felt a strong desire to join a Congregation of Nuns and be formed as one, I felt a strong desire to serve God through the church. At that time my parents, knowing my stubborn character to achieve everything I proposed to do, guided me to make a first approach to see how the whole movement was until I was completely sure of my decision.

So I did, I spent two years actively participating in different activities in the church, I was a catechist of Communion, I studied every day the sacred scriptures, also some theology and philosophy that they gave in a course for "consecrated laymen", among other things. In addition, I started on my own a volunteer work at the Children's Orthopedic Hospital that changed my life forever (this is a long story for another time).

Even though I felt at ease and all those activities were very fulfilling, I realized that this was not the way I wanted to serve. I really appreciate being in freedom, being able to move as I please and somehow starting that path was not in line with that. Then came the first love into my life and so much for the church story.

After that I spent the next 5 years focused on my studies at the University, I felt that something was missing or lost and this endless spiritual search began.

### Beginning of a new path in spirituality:

To tell you all about my journey of these last 17 years would take me many, many lines, but I could summarize them in the following: 

>> ###### "I went through many doctrines, beliefs, practices and dogmas based some in religion, and others in anti-religion, also by eclectics and even mystics and esoterics", it has been a long journey full of learning and I still have so much to learn and understand.

There have also been moments in my life when I have fought with God, and I have claimed things from Him, just those moments that call "the dark night of the soul" and then I realized that it was just my ways of seeing life and the perceptions I had that made me suffer and I returned back to HIM....

Each thing I did was adding something, and I am convinced that if I start again the same journey through all the things I left behind, I would look at them differently and I would have many more learnings.

Today I believe that "Spirituality" is about walking **the path of the "Spirit "** and there are many possible ways to do it, our Soul chooses the path we must walk and attracts the Masters we need to learn, and all are valid because they respond to the level of consciousness we have at any given time.

Fortunately I have had many guides who have positively influenced that path of Spirit, and others who with somewhat questionable teachings have made me walk the path of forgiveness and transcend lots of negative feelings to cleanse my heart for what at some point I considered an offense.

My great Master: **"Jesus "**, but not the one who remained nailed to the cross to be used by religions to create "guilt" in all humanity. I believe in the living Jesus, the one who said "I am the way, the truth and the life", the metaphysician who showed us not only the way of Love but also the way of forgiveness as a means to transcend our limited minds.

### From theory to practice

One of the most difficult things has been to put into practice what I have learned. I saw as a common point in most of the doctrines that I followed that they started from the premise of "Love" as the path to this connection with the transcendent. 

**But how to put this into practice? How can you love complete strangers or those who, knowing them, in my opinion did not deserve this gift?**

Practicing nonjudgmental mindfulness and detachment took me a few years of practice, and I still haven't mastered it to perfection because every now and then a judgment comes up that brings me news of things I have yet to transcend. However, it has been a great starting point to adopt a more compassionate attitude towards others, and to not take anything personally, respecting each person's way of being and the path they have chosen to evolve.

I also learned to downplay the importance of the material world, I left the races towards productivity and replaced them with hours of contemplation and enjoyment of the smallest things around me. I went into nature and awakened my senses through it. I began to listen to my body and its messages, to reconnect with myself again.

Love I could understand it in practice with my children, there is no love more sublime than the love of a mother, everything endures, everything supports, everything gives, everything forgives ... for mothers everything is possible ... and I could also learn to experience it with strangers through Biodanza.

It has been a great discovery for me that through dance I have found a way to see into the eyes of others and reach their soul without knowing them, to awaken emotions and a level of connection that definitely leads you to transcendence and connection with the whole. In Biodanza I understood in practice what I read everywhere about "we are all one", the so called unity.

I am still walking this path of the Spirit, now with a very different level of consciousness than many years ago and yet, with so many mysteries of life to discover and know. My great allies: forgiveness, faith, acceptance and gratitude. My recommendation:

>> ##### Take a space each day to list all the blessings in your life and be thankful for them.
