### <p><center> Feliz y bendecido presente 💖</center></p>

Hace unos días atrás nuestra apreciada @charjaim inauguró su espacio **"Está vida nuestra"** con una propuesta de [iniciativa](https://peakd.com/gente-buena/@charjaim/esa-vida-nuestra-la-gente-buena-that-life-of-ours-the-good-people) para compartir esos gestos bondadosos que hemos apreciado de otras personas, ello con el propósito de invitarnos a mirar más allá de nuestras narices y poner nuestra atención en las buenas acciones de los demás, más allá de esos centros noticiosos que nos mantienen con el foco en lo negativo y la pérdida de valores en el ser humano.

Desde que me comentó la propuesta me encantó, más porque está orientada a compartir gestos de terceras personas y no de nosotros mismos, eso me motivó mucho porque reconocer esa bondad en otro es un gesto de buena voluntad que me aleja del juicio y de la crítica y me lleva al reconocimiento de esa parte luminosa del otro y como bien destaca nuestra amiga @charjaim *"son actos de bondad que elevan nuestro nivel de conciencia"*.

Buscando en mi banco de memoria vinieron muchos gestos solidarios, tanto algunos en los que he sido beneficiaria, como otros que he podido apreciar como espectadora con mucho entusiasmo.

El que quiero compartir hoy ocurrió en la Universidad, cuando estábamos terminando el último año de carrera. Para ponerlos un poco en contexto, ocurrió en el año 2003, y aunque no estábamos en el peor momento de la crisis económica venezolana, ya empezaba a sentirse como se apretaban las circunstancias en muchas familias.

Para entonces era delegada del salón (representante estudiantil) de una Universidad privada de la capital con una matrícula que para muchos era difícil costear y para el último año habían muchos estudiantes que se habían esforzado en sus notas y compromisos académicos, pero que lamentablemente no podían pagar las mensualidades y compromisos económicos de la Universidad y por ende no podrían graduarse como lo esperado.

Esa situación nos tenía tristes porque queríamos graduarnos todos juntos, hicimos algunas campañas pro-fondos, fiestas, rifas, entre otras actividades pero no obtuvimos los resultados esperados.

A escasas semanas de la graduación una de las profesoras me citó a una reunión, me pidió que le presentará el caso de 3 estudiantes que no estuvieran en condiciones de pagar el monto adeudado a la Universidad y ella asumiría el costo. Le mencioné las 3 personas y sus condiciones, y luego de esto ella me pidió que por favor no mencionara la conversación a nadie, que no deseaba que se supiera que había sido ella la benefactora.

Al cabo de unos días estos 3 afortunados chicos recibieron la noticia que podían graduarse con el resto del grupo porque la Universidad había recibido una "donación" para costear lo adeudado por ellos. Fue un momento de júbilo para todo el salón.

Para mí fue además una gran lección, no solo por la calidad humana demostrada por esta profesora que ayudó sin ningún tipo de intereses a estos 3 estudiantes, sino además porque del profesorado que teníamos en ese entonces era la última persona en la que habría pensado pudiera surgir un acto bondadoso como este, de hecho me parecía muy apartada de la realidad de los estudiantes porque poco buscaba vincularse con el grupo.

De modo pues, que es un acto de bondad que percibí incluso para mí misma por el aprendizaje que me estaba dejando, desde entonces me di cuenta que no podía hacerme una imagen de una persona porque detrás de su comportamiento social hay un corazón que no vemos y que puede ser muy bondadoso, me di cuenta que así como ella era la heroína de ese momento, seguramente habían muchos otros héroes en la Universidad, ciudad, país y en el mundo entero, haciendo lo propio, haciendo el bien desde la mejor forma que pueden entregarlo para el beneficio de otros y esa revelación me pareció fascinante.

Yo cumplí con mi palabra de mantener el secreto y a partir de allí, cuando voy por la calle a veces juego a imaginarme quienes son esos héroes secretos de mi ciudad, que van por ahí salvando perritos, gatos, entregando donaciones en orfanatos, acompañando a los ancianos en las casas de cuidado, donando medicamentos, alimentos y tantas cosas sin que nadie se entere de su labor. 

Tener esa visión me llena de esperanza, por ello bendigo cada día a los hombres y mujeres de buena voluntad como aquella profesora, capaces de cambiar la vida de las personas de formas inimaginables.

A few days ago our dear @charjaim inaugurated her space "Está vida nuestra" with a proposed initiative to share those kind gestures that we have appreciated from other people, with the purpose of inviting us to look beyond our noses and put our attention on the good deeds of others, beyond those news centers that keep us focused on the negative and the loss of values in human beings.

Since she told me about the proposal I loved it, more because it is oriented to share gestures of third parties and not of ourselves, that motivated me a lot because recognizing that kindness in another is a gesture of goodwill that takes me away from judgment and criticism and leads me to the recognition of that luminous part of the other and as well highlights our friend @charjaim *"they are acts of kindness that raise our level of consciousness "*.

Searching in my memory bank came many gestures of solidarity, both some in which I have been a beneficiary, as well as others that I have been able to appreciate as a spectator with great enthusiasm.

The one I want to share today happened at the University, when we were finishing our last year of studies. To put it in context, it happened in 2003, and although we were not in the worst moment of the Venezuelan economic crisis, it was already beginning to be felt as the circumstances were tightening in many families.

At that time I was a student representative of a private university in the capital with a tuition that was difficult for many to afford and for the last year there were many students who had made an effort in their grades and academic commitments, but unfortunately they could not pay the monthly fees and economic commitments of the university and therefore could not graduate as expected.

This situation made us sad because we wanted to graduate all together, we did some pro-funds campaigns, parties, raffles, among other activities but we did not get the expected results.

A few weeks before graduation, one of the professors called me to a meeting, she asked me to present the case of 3 students who were not able to pay the amount owed to the University and she would assume the cost. I mentioned the 3 people and their conditions, and after this she asked me to please not mention the conversation to anyone, that she did not want it to be known that she had been the benefactor.

After a few days these 3 lucky kids received the news that they could graduate with the rest of the group because the University had received a "donation" to pay for what was owed by them. It was a moment of joy for the whole class.

For me it was also a great lesson, not only because of the human quality demonstrated by this professor who helped these 3 students without any interest, but also because of the faculty we had at that time was the last person I would have thought could come up with a kind act like this, in fact it seemed very distant from the reality of the students because little sought to link with the group.

So, it is an act of kindness that I perceived even for myself for the learning that was leaving me, since then I realized that I could not make me an image of a person because behind his social behavior there is a heart that we do not see and that can be very kind, I realized that just as she was the heroine of that moment, surely there were many other heroes in the University, city, country and around the world, doing their own, doing good in the best way they can deliver it for the benefit of others and that revelation seemed fascinating to me.

I kept my word to keep the secret and from then on, when I walk down the street sometimes I play at imagining who are those secret heroes of my city, who go around saving puppies, cats, delivering donations in orphanages, accompanying the elderly in nursing homes, donating medicines, food and so many things without anyone knowing about their work. 

Having that vision fills me with hope, so every day I bless men and women of good will like that teacher, who are able to change people's lives in unimaginable ways.
