Hola mis amigos de esta linda comunidad, esta es mi entrada al concurso en el cual se nos da una imagen y se nos invita a la reflexión. Ver esta imagen me dio mucha alegría porque me recordó el significado para mí del arbolito de navidad, que yo he conocido desde que era una niña hasta hoy. Mis padres, abuelos, familia y amigos siempre a finales de noviembre ponemos el arbolito y nos entusiasmamos mucho y refleja alegría en todas las familias. En cada casa se ven las luces, los arbolitos, y otros adornos como Santa Claus en algunos portales, guirnaldas y campanas de navidad. Todo se ve muy bonito al pasar, ya que todos están de fiesta y alegría.

El arbolito para mí tiene un gran significado porque simboliza mis antepasados desde años muy atrás, de alegría, mucho amor y felicidad, terminando un viejo año y comenzando uno nuevo, con la esperanza de que va a ser mejor que el que queda atrás, lleno de paz, abundancia y salud para mis hijos, mi familia y amigos.

Desde niña, siempre vi esa alegría para poner el arbolito , tanto ricos como pobres. Me acuerdo que antes los ponían de pinos, mi mamá siempre es quien lo hace, lo adorna y le hace bellas manualidades. También pone un pesebre y otros adornos como muñecos de nieve y otros. Al pasar el tiempo, los arbolitos los podíamos comprar en las tiendas, y estos eran de plástico. Con ellos vendían también muchos adornos para decorarlos, así como guirnaldas y luces de navidad.

En otros países los niños reciben su regalo el 25 de diciembre, y según la tradición estos son traídos por Santa Claus, mientras que en Cuba esto sucede el 6 de enero y son los Reyes Magos los que traen los regalos a los niños. Nos daba mucha alegría saber que nos traían regalos y al despertar corríamos hacia el arbolito para buscar el regalo. Hoy tengo dos hijos jóvenes, y me gusta ponerles algo aunque sepan que no son los Reyes Magos, sino su mamá quién le compra el regalo.

Aquí les dejo la decoración del arbolito que hizo mi mamá este año.

En fin, en todos los países el arbolito significa alegría, bailes, música. Yo tengo muy buenos recuerdos de esta etapa hasta hoy.
