The resilience to run it back up after losing one’s entire port in trading needs to be studied, especially if it’s happened multiple times. Time for story guys, grab a chair.  

You see there’s a different kind of pain when you watch months of work, late nights, research, and instinct vanish in seconds because of one bad entry or one misjudged hype. Argggh how you’ll wish you could just rewind time and not take those trades. 

I’ve been there. Portfolio wiped out, heart in my stomach, I scream I shout I pull out my hair but my wallet is just there staring back at me in emptiness. Hardest part is I can’t even tell anyone in real life as I writhe in pain. Can’t make it make sense. Loosing $5k in a trade? 

But what’s even more fascinating is the comeback, the hunger that makes you reload with $20, flip it to $200, and somehow find your way back to five figures.  

 Instead of folding, I studied the charts harder. I learned from the L. I rebuilt. And funny enough, the bounce-back always hits harder than the initial run-up. Not just in dollars, but in discipline, in mastery, in strategy, in competence and in network. 

Everytime I lost it all, it really felt like the end, I remember the first time, I thought it was over for my life, but I  won a few giveaways and got right back, rode it up to multiple figures. 

Second time it happened, I thought I would die, but somehow I didn’t, got some money somehow and ran it up in couple of days. Faster than I ever have. 

Third time, I’m pulling off numbers with low figures I never thought I could make use of. Flipping $1, $3….slowly but gradually I’ll hit my mark again and surpass it. 

I’m not saying I’ve mastered it all. If I’m being honest, I never want to loose it all again. But I’ve built calluses where there used to be fear. And if I lose it all again? Best believe I’ll run it back faster, smarter, calmer.

Because once you’ve rebuilt from zero more than once, you realize, you’re not lucky. You’re built different.
