Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad Motherhood. Los saludos como siempre con gran cariño, deseándoles un hermoso día. En esta oportunidad quiero compartir un tema que suele pasar en la vida cotidiana, como es que muchos hijos se olviden de sus padres o le den poca importancia a su cuidado.

Muchos de nosotros contamos con el privilegio de tener a nuestros padres desde que nacemos. Con nuestra llegada al mundo mediante nuestro nacimiento, estos hacen cambios extraordinarios en sus vidas para adaptarse a una nueva rutina, pues desde ese momento tienen la gran responsabilidad de cuidar, alimentar, enseñar y atender las necesidades emocionales de esa nueva persona.

Esta dura labor no se completa en solo algunos días, por lo general lleva muchos años, hasta que los hijos deciden irse de casa o cumplen la mayoría de edad y hacen una vida independiente. ¡Gran parte de la vida se va en la crianza de los hijos! Y si nos ponemos a pensar en todo lo que nuestros padres se limitaron a hacer por dedicarnos el tiempo; quizás pudieron viajar, darse sus lujos u otras cosas y en vez de eso invirtieron parte de su dinero en nuestras necesidades. ¿Cómo agradecemos el amor y tiempo que nos dedicaron?

Es normal y necesario que cuando ya nos hacemos adultos hagamos nuestra vida independiente de nuestros padres; un trabajo, un esposo o esposa, los hijos, empiezan a formar parte de nuestra vida; pero, ¿Qué hay de nuestros padres?, ese hogar que tenían se comienza a quedar solo mientras todos sus hijos toman su rumbo, sus energías se agotan y ya no pueden trabajar como lo hacían antes. Cuando entran a la vejez, son ellos los que necesitan de atención y cuidado.

Es triste ver como muchos hijos no sacan de su tiempo algunas horas para compensar años de cuidado y atención. Nuestros padres envejecidos no es algo que se pueda desechar, son un caudal de sabiduría y años de experiencia bajo una piel arrugada. Necesitan del mismo amor y cuidado que ellos nos mostraron un tiempo y la responsabilidad de cubrir esa necesidad es de los hijos.</p></div></p>

Pero, ¿y si no me criaron mis padres? En muchos casos, algunos padres seden la crianza de sus hijos a otras personas, ya sea por situación económica, irresponsabilidad u otros motivos personales. Es cierto que esto pueda ser dolorosos para los hijos y que incluso ocasione un fuerte impacto en su vida, esto los puede llevar a sentir rencor y que hasta cierto punto el orgullo no les permita acercarse a sus padres, ¿Cómo responder a esta situación?

Quiero compartir una experiencia con ustedes que le pasó a mi mamá, cómo afecto eso en su vida y qué hizo después. Mi madre nació en un lugar muy humilde y como mis abuelos tuvieron muchos hijos no tenían para cubrir las necesidades de todos, así que cedieron la crianza de mi madre a una tía. La vida de mi mama no fue nada fácil, pues la crianza que tuvo no fue la mejor y sus padres tampoco le dieron un buen ejemplo. Sin embargo, mi mama es una excelente madre, enseñándome que cada quien es lo que quiere ser. Lejos del rencor que pudo sentir mi madre por sus padres, prefirió dejarlo atrás para darnos un buen ejemplo a sus hijas, ya que cuido a mi abuelo hasta la muerte y aún sigue cuidando a mi abuela. No se olvidó de sus padres.

Nuestros padres siguen siendo nuestros padres así no se hayan portado también en la vida. La manera en que los tratemos va a ser un ejemplo para nuestros hijos. Darnos la vida es un motivo de agradecimiento. Así que es importante mostrar amor a nuestros padres dedicándoles tiempo, cuidado y comprensión. ¡No nos olvidemos de nuestros padres envejecidos!</p></div></p>

Hello dear friends of the Motherhood community. I greet you as always with great affection, wishing you a beautiful day. This time I want to share a topic that often happens in everyday life, as many children forget their parents or give little importance to their care.

Many of us are privileged to have our parents from birth. With our arrival into the world through our birth, they make extraordinary changes in their lives to adapt to a new routine, because from that moment on they have the great responsibility of caring for, feeding, teaching and attending to the emotional needs of this new person.

This hard work is not completed in just a few days, it usually takes many years, until the children decide to leave home or come of age and make an independent life. Much of life goes into raising children! And if we think about all that our parents limited themselves to do to dedicate their time to us; perhaps they could have traveled, indulged in luxuries or other things and instead invested part of their money in our needs. How do we thank them for the love and time they dedicated to us?</p></div></p>

It is normal and necessary that when we become adults we make our lives independent from our parents; a job, a husband or wife, children, begin to be part of our lives; but, what about our parents, that home they had begins to be left alone while all their children take their course, their energies are exhausted and they can no longer work as they did before. When they enter old age, they are the ones who need attention and care.

It is sad to see how many children do not take time out of their time to compensate for years of care and attention. Our aging parents are not something to be thrown away, they are a wealth of wisdom and years of experience under a wrinkled skin. They need the same love and care that they once showed us and the responsibility to fill that need lies with the children.</p></div></p>

But what if my parents didn't raise me? In many cases, some parents leave the upbringing of their children to other people, either because of economic situation, irresponsibility or other personal reasons. It is true that this can be painful for the children and even cause a strong impact on their lives, this can lead them to feel resentment and to some extent pride does not allow them to approach their parents, how to respond to this situation?

I want to share with you an experience that happened to my mother, how it affected her life and what she did afterwards. My mother was born in a very humble place and as my grandparents had many children they did not have enough to cover everyone's needs, so they gave my mother's upbringing to an aunt. My mother's life was not easy, because her upbringing was not the best and her parents did not give her a good example either. However, my mother is an excellent mother, teaching me that everyone is what they want to be. Far from the resentment my mother may have felt for her parents, she preferred to leave it behind to set a good example for her daughters, as she took care of my grandfather until he died and still takes care of my grandmother. She did not forget her parents.

Our parents are still our parents even if they have not behaved as well in life. The way we treat them will be an example for our children. Giving us life is a reason to be thankful. So it is important to show love to our parents by dedicating time, care and understanding to them. Let's not forget our aging parents!</p></div></p>
