I would like to talk today about curation rewards, of their importance as an essential element of steemit and of authors' bad habits that with their attitude are depriving curators of their rewards.  What I noticed was that many authors (maybe too many) are in the habit of upvoting his own post within the first minutes after publishing a post. In this way they slam the door in curators face who have to settle to clean up the crumbs. What they don't realize is that curation rewards were designed to encourage authors to upvote each other and therefore to interact, so with their bad habits they're doing a damage to Steemit and consequently to themselves because hamper its growth. Another bad habit is to get the bid bots vote within the first minutes after publishing their post. But that means curation rewards goes for the benefit of bots and nobody else. So I ask you, for the good of Steemit: - Don't upvote your own post within the first minutes after publishing a post, but at least you wait till that was 30 minutes; - You are free to use bid bots, but wait at least an hour after you publishing a post. Two very simple requests, which would be likely to encourage Steemit grow, thus creating opportunities for interaction and respecting the intentions of the creators of this Platform.  I've already started respecting these two rules (I've already cleared it [HERE](https://steemit.com/curation/@miti/my-commitment-to-offering-maximum-curation-rewards-to-my-supporters-eng-ita) and this is the result:        as you can see, curation rewards has been almost entirely for the benefit of my curators, with their 25% in rewards virtually untouched. --- Now, that's the one that usually happens:     Are you ready to join me, following this two simple rules? Oggi vorrei parlare delle curation rewards, dell'importanza che hanno in steemit e della cattiva abitudine di molti autori che con il loro atteggiamento di fatto stanno privando i curatori del loro guadagno.  Quello che ho notato è che tanti (forse troppi) autori hanno l'abitudine di votare il proprio post nei primissimi minuti dopo la pubblicazione. In questo modo chiudono la porta in faccia ai curatori ai quali rimangono le briciole. Quello che non capiscono è che le curation rewards sono state congegnate per incentivare gli utenti a votarsi tra di loro e quindi creare interazione, quindi attuando comportamenti che vanno a renderle nulle, stanno facendo un danno a steemit e di conseguenza a se stessi perchè ne frenano la crescita. Un altro atteggiamento sbagliato è di utilizzare i bot nei primi 30 minuti dopo la pubblicazione del proprio articolo. In questo modo consegnano di fatto tutta la curation rewards al bot lasciando i propri curatori solo gli spiccioli. Quindi per il bene di steemit vi chiedo di: - Non autovotarvi nei primi 30 minuti dopo che pubblicate il vostro post; - Se volete utilizzare i bot di voto, fatelo almeno dopo un'ora dalla pubblicazione del post. Due semplici richieste, che potrebbero incentivare la crescita di steemit creando interazione e rispettando quelli che erano gli intenti di chi ha creato questa piattaforma.  Io ho già cominciato a rispettare queste due regole (ne ho già parlato [QUI](https://steemit.com/curation/@miti/my-commitment-to-offering-maximum-curation-rewards-to-my-supporters-eng-ita)) e questo è il risultato:        come potete notare, la curation rewards è quasi totalmente a favore dei miei curatori con il loro 25% delle rewards quasi intatto. --- Questo invece è quello che accade di solito:     Siete pronti ad unirvi a me nel seguire queste due semplici regole? Questo è un utilissimo articolo che molti *ricchi* autori devono leggere: lo ribloggerò volentieri! C'è da dire che anche le UI invogliano all'autovoto degli autori, con la *check box* "Vote my post"... sarebbe utile toglierla? Se il voto dell'autore ha un valore basso, anche se effettuato nei primissimi minuti, è ininfluente per la curation reward. *** Un *valoroso* abbraccio da @amico!

Grazie amico.. @amico :D In effetti se avessi un pò d'influenza ai piani alti di steemit, chiederei di eliminare la possibilità per un autore di autovotarsi nei primi 30'.. chissà, potrei proporlo a qualche balena "buona" e vedere che succede.. Un abbraccio a te ;-)

Amigo miti this type of publication interests me a lot because I do not really understand much about curaduria ... I read that the best time to vote is at half an hour and one gets gain from the publication to which you vote, but I have never managed to get gains by voting, hahaha. I think it's also because my voting power is just 16 SP. Of comments if I have received but never by votes. I have read in others that you must vote at 20 minutes. Total that I do not know what would be the perfect moment in which I should vote. According to your publication it would be good to vote then at 30 minutes. true?

Amigo miti this type of publication interests me a lot because I do not really understand much about curaduria ... I read that the best time to vote is at half an hour and one gets gain from the publication to which you vote, but I have never managed to get gains by voting, hahaha. I think it's also because my voting power is just 16 SP. Of comments if I have received but never by votes. I have read in others that you must vote at 20 minutes. Total that I do not know what would be the perfect moment in which I should vote. According to your publication it would be good to vote then at 30 minutes. true?

I like the post! I too am in the same mindset as you; don’t steal all the money for yourself or the bid bots. The bots and self voting are ruining this platform in my opinion. I want more people to do this but unfortunately people are greedy and don’t care about benefitting the community they want to benefit only themselves. It’s not the best but at least there are those in the community like tu ed io (trying to use some Italian when I can remember it’s appropriateness!) who feel this way. Mi rendo conto che vada contro i principi di Steemit, ma è anche vero che fino a quando il rapporto tra voto del creatore e reward ottenuta dal post è molto basso, l'influenza è minima sulla curation (non mi esprimo sui bot che non uso e conosco).

In effetti è come dici, può comunque essere una buona abitudine da cominciare sin da subito. Considera che molti curatori votano con dei bot che cercano di garantirsi delle buona curation e tendono a scartare chi si autovota nei primissimi minuti peggiorando la redditività delle stesse.

No, mi dispiace ma non è così e te lo dimostro praticamente. Se fai votare il bot dopo almeno un ora che il post è stato pubblicato, garantisci ai curatori che restano nella finestra migliore (15/30 minuti) delle ottime rewards. Gli altri reward della curation gli ha presi l'altro Bot che hai usato . Agli utenti "normali" che ti hanno votato non resta quasi nulla. Che curation vuoi che maturi uno che ha un voto di 0.3 dollari in confronto a uno che ti da un voto di 80 dollari o 20 dollari? La sproporzione è tale per cui questi discorsi sulle finestre sono palliativi. Ajò.....
