# Långe Erik, Öland, Scerige (Sweden)

I'm feeling a wave of nostalgia as I sift through some old photos, and it’s hard to believe four years have already flown by! These particular snapshots are from my trip to the beautiful island of Öland in Sweden. Öland has a unique vibe compared to the mainland—there’s always a refreshing breeze blowing in from the Baltic Sea, and even in August, it had that lovely chill. One of the highlights for me was the stunning lighthouse! I loved walking around it and even built a little cairn out of stones to remember my visit. It was an awesome place, and I felt this strong urge to leave my mark there as I visited there. What a wonderful experience! What a beautiful place! 

もう4年も経過したのかぁと昔の写真を見ながら懐かしく思い出に浸っています。スウェーデンにある、Öland島を旅行した時に撮影した写真です。この時はコロナ禍の真っ只中で、すごく閉塞感が世界を包んでいたのですが、スウェーデンでは比較的に移動は制限されず自由に国内の移動ができました。Öland島はスウェーデン本土とは違った文化や風土があります。バルト海から強い風が常に吹いていて、8月でも少し肌寒く感じるほどでした。この灯台はその美しい姿はとても印象に残りました。灯台の周辺も散策する事ができ、私も記念に石を使って小さなケルンを作りました。私もこの地にたちよった軌跡を残したいを感じる、素敵な場所でした。
